Nice hostel in the heart of Bucharest (youn can reach Unirii Square, by foot, in less then 10 minutes). Very clean and hospitable.

Staff wanted to be helpful but were not very knowledgable. Very bleak with no atmosphere and no good room to meet other hostelers. It really was just a very cheep place with beds where only Romanian's stayed, not a good place for foreign travelers.

The staff was very friend and helpful. We walked to all the sites we wanted to see in Bucharest, that's how convenient it was but we did not like the fact that our rooms had no lock. When we asked for it, they said we did not need them and that they had lockers. It was the cheapest hostel we ever stayed at and they accommodated my whole family in one room, that was appreciated.

The staff is awesome! Though it is a little off the beaten path and not much to do socially.

Friendly and helpful staff, perfect location for my needs, big spacey room. A bit cold at the beginning of the night.

It's very clean hostel. Staff is always helpful and english speaking. Location is excellent - just 5 min walk from the metro station and in very silent area at this same time. I've stayed there the second time and when I will be in Bucharest again, I'm gonna stay in Happy Hostel again.

Awful hostel. I've stayed in many hostels in my travel career and I would gladly stay in the Bucharest train station before I stay at Happy Hostel again. The staff was very difficult to work with and tried to sell me a drastically overpriced tour to another city before I had even checked in. The hostel has no lockers, no locks on doors and only a small fence in the front of the building. The location is a minimum twenty walk from anything, not the ten they advertise. Stay anywhere else.

We were delighted! Great rates, excellent staff, the girl at reception was extremely helpful, she even called a taxi for us at 4:30am! The room was clean, and the bathroom was shining! They turned the heater on upon request, wifi was available. The location was good, meters away from the main boulevard. We spent just a night there but would choose the same hostel again if we're around!

perfect location, 15min from the Piața Unirii. I stayed on the second floor in the dorm besides the bathroom, the sewage pump is very loud and the walls are thin.

Very close to the metro station and easy to reach the city center, only 1 station away or 15 min walk. Clean kitchen, but small. Clean bathroom. No real common room, only 5 chairs in the entrance. No place outside to hangout Nice place to sleep, if all you need it's a bed to sleep...

I loved staying here, it was clean, silent enough to rest. Although there is no possibility to open the windows in the private rooms, we still got the privacy we were expecting. Thank you, be happy :)

Some little things could be better, but I left the place satisfied, mostly because the people working there were very nice to me and everyone else. Extra motive to stay there if you're arriving from Sofia, the fact that the bus leaves you at some spot which is no more than five minutes walk from the hostel. All in all, I wouldn't mind staying there again.

Our stay at the hostel was just incredible, even though we arrived 2 hours before we said we will, they were already expecting us. After Eugeny showed us the room and the shower (which was really great, comparing to the other hostels where I stayed), he gave us the map with all the great places to see and recommended a nice Romanian food restaurant, which was quite expensive if you are on a short budget, but still nice. The hostel was really clean, beds comfortable, location great. Thank you!!!

Very clean and safe hostel in a good location. Fantastic, helpful and funny staff, thanks again Eugene. Only downside is that a common hang-out area is very small. But would definetly come again. Cheers Raffael
