Good place nice amb ience

Best hostel ever

The staff here were really friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for things to do. Great wifi in the rooms, having sink/mirror in the room, a kitchen with a fridge and microwave was also nice. Be warned -- BRING EARPLUGS! The beds and floors are extremely creaky and the walls are quite thin. Also, breakfast was extremely expensive at 8 CHF. The shower's hot water cut in and out too. Other than that had a great stay! :)

My reservation was rejected and I have to find another hotel, ofcourse i did not receive any compensation. I was totally annoyed.

We do not understand your querie. You have made a Reservation for 2 nights and you were checked in. You stayed 2 nights. What did we do wrong?

The mattresses definitely need replacing. The springs are visible and the beds are uncomfortable. Otherwise we were happy.

We enjoyed our stay but the staff always seemed busy working in the bar, so it seemed like it would have been very easy for any person walking in to ask for a room key and be given access to the guests' belongings. But we just kept our valuables on us at all times, and otherwise it was great!

Nice and clean hotel

The security door can be opened easily, that I dun feel safe. There is one charger in a 6 beds room. There is no kitchen for u to cook. Bathroom is shared with 3 separated small bathroom. It means that there is a boy/girl bathing next door. Toilet is clean.

Considering it was Switzerland, we got the hostel at a decent rate. Room was rather small for 6 persons though. However staff were really nice and made us feel welcomed in Interlaken. Highly recommend.

Staff was helpful, when they had time...

Rooms are squeaky as hell and the floor is not even... Beds are not comfortable and the sheets are bigger than the pillow. Staff is kinda nice. I would say security is good but you have to leave the key of your room when you go out... Then what's the point of the enormous key the give you? Location has to be good, Interlaken is really small. Good point is that they have a kitchen that's pretty big and you can leave food. Aside from that I wouldn't go if I were you.

We stayed at the Happy Inn Lodge for one night. The staff was very friendly and nice, but the room was very small for 6 people and it had only one socket/room. Had to charge my phone in the hallway. They have a kitchen as well as their own pub/restaurant which is great, but can get very nosy at night because of it(music from downstairs).

It was a little weird walking into a bar to check in for a hostel but the staff was really helpful and we had an overall great experience. This is probably one of our favorite hostels that we stayed at.

The staffs are very friendly.but the hostel is little bit poor because made of woods n the room is very small for two peoples.and i hate the light in the toilet.it always off.

A hostel with a bar/restorant downstair, so very convient if you want to drink something after a whole day's traveling. Good quality/price ratio.

It was a great location with a wonderful bar and restaurant below. The staff were very friendly and everything was very clean. The only problem we had was that at 2am a man was banging on your door to get into our room because they told him he was staying in our room. He even had a key to our room, which made us weary of our security, but we locked everything up in our lockers and did not have a problem after that. Overall a great place to stay!

Mattresses were very thin and the toilets need hand soap, but apart from that a great location (5 minutes walk from Interlaken West station) and pretty good place to stay overall. Above a busy, popular restaurant/bar so can be loud in the evenings, but it's not bad, and is dead quiet after it closes. It was an unusual system having the bar as the reception, and having to leave the key with them whenever you leave for the day, but staff were very nice and helpful regardless.

you can wash your hand in your room. There are many korean, I don't know why. They run bar & restaurant. It's nice.

poor kitchen and wifi the shower was cold the reception is in the bar, hard the communication with staff when needed big room and nice food in the bar

The Kitchen has really few cutlery. A hostel need at an oven. The security is poor as people from the bar can have free acess to the hostel. The reception is the bartenders, so really difficult to talk while they rush to serve drinks. Need better mattres.
