Great place. Location is not that bad if you don't mind walking a bit. Safe and clean!!

Great hostel - Cozy & very clean. Free nutella, peanut butter, bread, bananas was very nice. A short walk from the train station.

In general it is a god hostel, small but nice. The only bad thing for me was the location, because my feet were so tired everyday that each time walking from the MRT station seemed to be endless.

One of the better hostels iv stayed at in Asia. Feels like staying at home, air con, wifi, everything works great. Free toast all day, wonderful staff. Would recommend this place and would stay here again.

It was really nice. Staff was kind and helpful. I'm totally satisfied with this hostel. Though it is not close from MRT Station (15-20 mins by walk), I didn't have any trouble to come back to/from hostel because I could take the bus bound from/for city centre. I'd like to recommend this hostel to lots of travel mates.

Great hostel! A little bit farther away, but the price is right. Not bad at all if you don't mind waiting 5 minutes for a bus or walking 10 minutes to the metro. Staff is SO friendly. Free toast, PB, jam, nutella whenever you want. Clean place. AC. Thank you!!

Great value for money, a really nice hostel with a great owner who was very helpful. Is really clean and has free tea, coffee, toast and bananas anytime of the day, which is great! Along with all the usual facilities. Even though its not a central location it is really easy to get around using public transport and is in a nice quiet part of the city. Highly recommend this hostel, a great place to stay while in Singapore.

Lovely place and the only hostel where I've felt like home. Free breakfast and super cosy! Mike is also helpful and not pushy at all. Wonderful time and would definitely return to this hostel if I ever visit Singapore again. Not far from China Town and the buses are often running.

The hostel is brilliant in terms of facilities (hair dryer, ironing table, brekkie, fruits) but you pay for this luxury...some how in Singapore is worth is not to have to share with workers from other countries...I was pleased with our stay and Mike was very very helpful when my cousin misplaced her Night Safari ticket...def will stay here again if in Singapore and on a budget...

I can only say: Go to Happy snail! It's a rather small, family run hostel with a nice, cozy atmosphere. Mike and his family are really nice and helpful people. It's always clean, you get free breakfast and tea/coffee and everything important is in walking distance (super market, food court, ATM). The only downside is that you have to walk 15 mins to the MTR, but there is a bus stop right in front of the hostel.

+ good value for money + have breakfast and bananas 24h for free + owner run hostel + clean + coz its not directly in the center (but easy access) u can get great food for superlow prices everywhere around - common room is too small and too warm and there is not really space to use ur notebook (unless u wanna sit between toaster and washing maschine) - very limited receptionist opening time

Really a very cool hostel for all backpackers. You meet lots of other people and the hostel offers everything you need and more. Mike, the owner is really nice and helpful. It's not too big and has a nice atmosphere. It is far my favorite hostel on our trip :-)

Fantastic stay at a lovely hostel. Mike the owner is such a nice guy and knows everything you want to know about the city, where to go, how to get there and you can arrange a lot of tickets for attractions with him. Clean hostel with a good atmosphere and not too far from China town and main public transport.

Absolutely outstanding. I got more enjoyment and made more connections by staying here than I ever would have staying in a hotel. Staying here was by far the best choice I made in planning out my trip.

Good little place for a brief stay in Singapore. Mike and his wife made me feel very welcome, and I slept really well all three nights. It's small, but this made a really pleasant change after staying in big hostels. Definitely recommend.
