i found an environment very nice and affordable. Surely the hosteil is very clear.
Great place, met the owner Mike's friend Ivan. Great ppl, had a nice chill experience, and worth the price you pay! Very at home feel to it. However, if you are claustrophobic, not the best place. Despite that, it was a great place and made some new friends in the hostel! A bit far to walk from Outram Park Station, so you would need to either walk 15 minutes to the station, or take the bus. Very clean place and recommend for someone who wants calm and chill.
Perfect hostel. 24 hr breakfast, cheap drinks, A/C, comfortable beds, lockers and an extremely nice/helpful owner. 15 minute walk to MRT but close to multiple bus stops. Loved our stay here.
Fantastic place to stay, showering room is clean, whole day breakfast, friendly host Mike. Worth more than you pay. Will definitely book this hostel again when I come back.
One of the cooler hostels we've stayed at during our travels. It feels like you're living in a shared apartment with some fellow backpackers, making it very easy to chat with people and make new friends. The owner, Mike, isn't there very much, but he's a friendly, helpful guy and the place basically runs itself, so...
Stayed here for 6 nights. While a little bit out of the way, you are within walking distance of an SMRT station (Outram Park) that connects you up to everywhere you want to go. There are also plenty of buses available.... unless you like to be in the centre of town, location is not an issue here! Due to its small size, hostel had a very homey time feeling to it and it was easy to get to know everyone else who was staying there. Mike also has satellite TV so there is always a good TV selection!
Excellent hostel. Mike the hostel owner is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is fairly basic, but with no arbitrary cut off time is great. Hostel is clean and well kept. A little bit out of the way, but easy enough to get to.
home away from home :) cozy, clean, comfortable beds, free munchies!!! you'll find almost everything you need in the hostel
Excellent, loved Happy Snail! Great vibe and very clean.
Mike the owner is a great guy, very helpful and kind. The place is slightly hard to find but not at all far away from the city center. Free breakfast is a lovely little extra! Very small hostel so you know exactly who else is staying there, it's easy to make friends! Only negative is the size of the beds, if you're 185+ cm you will have a fairly hard time fitting in the beds.
It's a simple and small hostel, very clean and friendly.
Very friendly and relaxed hostel in a good location.

Great hostel, but location was not too great. Busses were close, but not really in the heart of things.
Great hostel, Mike was really friendly and couldn't be anymore helpful. Cheap food nearby, and close to bus and MRT station. Wifi was really good, and there was free breakfast and tea and coffee. Definitely recommend it. Thanks Mike!

Washer & Dryer in the kitchen area which is very handy, but almost always being used. Not walking distance to downtown, but there are plenty of bus stops and a metro stop near by (5-10 minute walk). Across the street from the hospital. About $30 by taxi from train station. Discount attraction tickets through the front desk - super convenient! Small hostel so didn't meet many other people. TV and couches in lobby are nice at night after a long day exploring Singapore. Will definitely come back!
THE best Hostel in Singapore,... You will love Mike
Clean enough, free breakfast, wifi and AC all very good and comfy beds with night lamps and plugs. 10 min walk to subway. There are about 15 beds and if the hostel was full (it wasn't when I was there) it would feel cramped.
A small, 3 room, 18 bed hostel, located about 10-15min walk south of Chinatown, it is near a bus line, and is close enough to the city to be there quickly, and far enough away to relax. Mike, the owner and operator is great! Very nice, accomodating, and pretty funny too! The free bread, nutella, peanut butter, jelly, tea and coffee all day is sweet! Mike is so cool he even sold me stamps and personally put them in the mail. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend!
Nice place to stay, really felt like home as it is really like an apartment and especially because we could eat all the bananas en toastbread and drink coffee and tea we wanted :-) super comfortable beds as well. reception very kind and helpful even if not there a lot...
