Tried this place on a whim because I had an early morning in Quezon City and it was great. Clean and new facilities, full-sized bunk beds. Wifi only in common area and they were playing a disturbing horror movie on HBO, but other than that the atmosphere was great. Very clean, big lockers were nice. No towels provided, and to rent one is expensive, 150 pesos ($3). There's a 1000 peso damage deposit that caught me by surprised because it wasn't mentioned beforehand.
Stayed for over 9days, for the money it was great, the staff is friendly, easy walk from the train stations and the mall, first time in manila, stayed at another hostel, both were great, FYI there is no hot water, but you will probably won't need it, since is hot at the moment (February 2014), I talked to the staff they told me they open in December of last year, and it shows, everything is new, about 3minute walk to a laundry place, no complains.
