Me and my friend were in a room of 4, in a small apartment (containing another room of 4) which had its own kitchen, bathroom and toilet. The only negative points: the bathroom was not very clean, and our bedroom's door does a lot of noise when we open it.

I stayed there for one night in a 2 bed private room with my friend. The room was nice and big but the corridors and surroundings were pretty unappealing. Facilities in the room were ok. Given that this is a hostel I guess one can't expect a lot but I didn't want to use the dishes and cutlery without washing them myself first. Staff was helpful but he wasn't always around, which almost became a problem when we had to pick up our backpacks 30 minutes before our train departed.

It was a wonderful hostel in terms of the fact that it was an apartment setting and was a nice place to stay for those who do not want to share a room with others. The staff was absolutely wonderful, giving us maps and advice and telling us what fun things were going on the weekend during our visit. However.. the condition of the shower in our apartment was absolutely disgusting, there was mold/rust (honestly not sure what it was) all along the edges and we found food underneath our bed as well.

The Happy Hostel is what it says it is, a Happy Hostel. The staff were jolly, and they were very interesting people too. The facilites and value for money, were what one expects of a hostel in a big city, and the location was very convenient. I would recommend it to anyone.

This was definetly the nicest hostel with the most facilities we have ever been in. It was very clean, had an ideal location, the staff was very nice, a very nice bathroom,... The only thing was that the beds were very bed, but to solve this we slept on the couch.

Great hostel in terms of what you get for your money. It's located about 30 minutes outside the center, but there's a metro close by to connect you.

We reserved a room for two with private bath & kitchen. The room was huge with much more space than we were expecting. Two huge windows looked out onto the street & a table was,I for t of o e. an old bur comfortable sofa was against the wall. There was a closet & outlets. The shower had very hot water when It was not used up, so my daughter got a terrific shower the 1st night & I did the 2nd night. The walk from the train station was only about 10 min. Inexpensive dining nearby

We stayed there for one night and loved the place. People working there were really helpful and nice. The room was equipped with towels. I also borrowed hair-dryer for the reception. We booked a double-bed room and it was very clean and nicely arranged, seems like a quite place! There was also a parrot when we arrived to the hostel...there were some recostruction works in progress and there was this parrot hopping around! very home-like atmosphere! Would recommend it!

Internet did not work properly. It was not clean, especifically in common areas. There was just ¿¿one key?? for all rooms and for the front door. Forniture was bought...70 years ago? Old and a dirty, with the exception of matrass which was not bad.

We had a big, clean room with small kitchen and everything else that you need. Beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. Location near one of the central railway and metro stations. Good location for couples or groups, not so much for alone travellers, that want to meet people.

We had a great stay! The room was spacious and extremely clean as measured by hostel standards. Westbahnhof is a 2min walk, so the location was very good, too. Staff at the reception as well as the cleaning ladies were friendly and attentive. Personally we thought the restaurant where the hostel would send you to for breakfast (extra 4€) is not the best choice for authentic Austrian cuisine, but it's only the hostel's recommendation and you may as well spend the 4€ at a bakery or someplace else.

Happy hostel is basically building with apartments, and some of them belong to hostel. Our room was double with shared bathroom, the room was big and clean, with really good heating,WiFi didn't worked, but they have two computers at the reception. In our "flat" we had a small but usable kitchen, bathroom and toilet, shared with 2 other rooms.Tiny complaint- there was no soap to wash hands. Location is great! You can walk to a city center .I would definitely recommend Happy hostel.

The room was clean and the shared kitchen had all necessary things. It was quiet, with easy access to supermarket, train station and city centre.

The location is very central- to begin your trip in Vienna. İt is clean and very warm (it's important considering the cold winter conditions in Vienna). We stayed in a 4 people dorm type room, it was designed well. We had no problem at all.
