The hostel was good overall and great value for money. You were able to get individual apartments for quite a reasonable price. However, we had problems with our bathroom and ended up taking a cold shower because the heating was not functioning properly. No action was taken for the 2 days we spent there. Our other friends in the same hostel had no problems with theirs. Overall it is a great place but they should fix this room as well .Cleanliness, location and security is excellent.

Basically a room in a building across the road from the hostel not for people wanting to meet people

We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel in the little apartments that it is made up of. Good facilities, friendly staff and ok location. Reminded me of staying at my Nana's house. Really comfy bed.

it's very nice. We rented a double bed room, with toilet, kitchen, bathroom together. The price is very attactive. Good, recommend.

Old but spacious rooms. Been there twice. Ideal location to explore Vienna and travel around- just 3 min to the train station and to the main shopping street. Main center attractions reachable on foot ( 20-30 min) or by metro. Staff doesn't look "happy" but is helpful enough.

This was a lovely hostel with very friendly staff. The only concern I had was the large number of people running around the corridors screaming - which didn\'t make for a very relaxing visit.

The location is very good, but the place isn't that clean, especially bathrooms. It is OK, but not superclean. If you book a one bed room you share bathroom with a different room. Nevertheless, I liked that there were printing facilities and a possibility to wash your laundry as well.

There was no wifi in the room, the bathroom was not clean and the people who did the cleaning STOLE my stuff. The location wasn't really good, you have to take underground. I wouldn't recommend this hostel at all!

We we're surprised how big the room was, was actually a complete apartment.(double bedroom). Defitenitly worth the money! Helpfull staff as well and breakfast and food at Inge and Gary around the corner is great!!!

It is generally a good hostel, but it is next to impossible to find someone from the Hostel staff to help you after 7pm.-

It is a lovely and comfortable place, I had not expected such a spacious apartment although it was denoted as deluxe. I enjoyed the stay there very much. The guy with parrots was very helpful and the girl next day too. Although without wifi, we could use desktops next to the reception desk . Anyway it is more relaxing to discuss the day events in the pleasant apartment with a cup of tea than surfing the web :). I definitely recommend the hostel, I would come there again.

I\'ve stayed at many hostels in Europe and Asia and this might just be the best one I\'ve ever stayed in. We got the Double bed private room and the room is huge!! It\'s like a mini apartment with a kitchen (including refrigerator and utensils)and eating area, bedroom, and private bathroom. No breakfast(although there is a small cafe around the corner to which the hostel sells vouchers for 3 euros I believe), but the best solution is to buy your own groceries. Four stops on metro to main sights.

I had a wonderful time in happyhostel. The location is great! and it's OK if you don't have breakfast included, BILLA is closeby! great great great! :)

I rented a single room with shared bathroom and kitchen. It was perfect, like in an hotel. Don't be intimidated by the first impression.

The appartment had a lot of amenities if you are staying for a long period. The staff was very helpful. But some of the things on the appartment need to be renewed or replaced.

True, we wanted a private room with double bed. But on the other hand, it was still a hostel: The price was very high!

We were totally surprised by the size of the room! We were expecting a tiny normal hostel room and arrived to an apartment! Staff was friendly and helpful. Location near a U bahn station and a train station but a nice long walk from most main tourist attractions. Would definitely recommend this hostel!

I LOVED this place! So easy to get to, great location, the staff are so nice, and the room was gorgeous :) Will stay here again if I return to Vienna for sure!
