Great price, convenient location in a safe (but not picturesque) neighborhood. We loved having a kitchen & being able to have our laundry done for just a few Euro. They didn't clean our room, change our sheets, or replace our towels in the four days we were there, which was fine. However, there was no soap or hand towels in the bathroom and that wasn't fine. We were sharing this bathroom and it's a little gross knowing nobody is washing their hands, but that was a minor complaint.

We loved the room - as a couple traveling on a budget it was brilliant to have such a private space to stay and an extra bonus to have our own kitchenette - we loved the toastie maker - very handy!!

Nice friendly staff gave tips on what to do and free map, good location room ok. Bathroom bit dated could be bit cleaner but ok. Sheets were strange but guess doesn't matter much!

Wierd but brilliant place! Lots of rooms and apartments all joined together. I stayed in a single room in an apartment style area. Bathrrom and toilet could do with a deep cleam but it was passable. The Kitchen and bedroom were great, clean, tidy, large. Better sound insulation than most other hostels I have stayed in. Close to bars, cafes, restaurants and shopping. Metro and trams are a couple of minutes walk away. Great location and I felt very welcome, thank you.

Everything was alright, it was cheap, free wifi, kitchen included, helpful staff...

Very nice hostel in a cosy part of vienna. Best connections to subway. Tip: have a dinner at the near Restaurant of "Irene", excellent home made vienna food. They also serve breakfast.

En internet solo muestran la parte bonita del hostal, que no es la única. Las habitaciones para grupos son incómodas, un solo baño para 8 personas. Las almohadas malas Servicio de recepción fué deficiente En la cocina de esa parte del hostal dormía una persona, lo que no es adecuado, pero ademas no se pudo usar con tranquilidad

We enjoyed our stay at Happy Hostel. The hostel is fully equip especially we can prepare our meals and breakfast. These enuable us to save costs. The location is prefect and easy to walk around and many shops for us to do our shopping. If I have a chance to go back to Vienna, I will stay at Happy Hostel again.

It will be pleased if the room could be having household clean up for at least once for a couple of days.

My husband and I were treated great...room was huge....kitchen great...staff great...free internet also great....would definitely stay here again

The shower in our apartment was really erratic, so we all had to use painfully cold water to wash with. Other than that inconvenience, it was a really good size and a good location.

I stayed in a single room and my experience was extremely pleasant. The room itself, the bathroom and the kitchen were very clean, and at night everything was really quiet. The hostel definitely met and exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and security. The staff was very nice, they provided me with the information I needed in terms of public transportation in Vienna. I could pay with credit card.

PROS: This hostel has a superb location; also the private room we had was actually a HUGE studio - with a small kitchen, bath and a HUGE room. The price is also very attractive. CONS: Although the bed linen and the towels were clean, the room overall - and especially the bathroom - was extremely dusty. The staff was different - the man who met us was extremely friendly, but the woman checking us out was nearly rude.

The place was a bit outdated and looked a bit dusty in places but decent enough for a few nights sleep. Staff really friendly and helpful and location great. Easy access to all the sites and right near westbahnhof. You could probably find better for your money but not at all bad if youre not fussy!

Great hostel with extremely happy and helpful staff. Located near the main train station. Clean, spacious rooms and we particularly appreciated having our own kitchen! Would definitely recommend.

Stayed in the 6 bed dorm. It was separate from the main hostel building but located in a peaceful courtyard above a private room. There was NO KITCHEN, just a fridge and table but the en-suite bathroom and bedroom itself were both very good for the price! No common room/bar, so even though I met people it wasn't the most social hostel. If you want a peaceful friendly hostel, in a good location then I'd highly recommend it! But if you're after fun/organized nights out, do not choose this place!

Close to the Hauptwestbanhof station. Staff were very helpful with information to find attractions. Clean and good facilities.
