Mr Ibrahim is great and will protect you from touts. They will arrange good deals for going to Karnak, Luxor temple, valley of kings. Many signs to make navigation easy. A short walk to the Nile where you can enjoy some restaurants and shops.

Happy Land went out of their way to make sure we had a fun, cheap time in Luxor. The tour was great, the room was cool and they even bought our bus tickets for us, at no extra charge! Amazing. Also, breakfast is large and delicious. Thanks, Happy Land!

Limpieza excelente!!

Hard pillows, but otherwise great place. good staff who organised a hot air balloon ride for us and a trip to temples. breakfast was excellent. IGNORE ALL TOUTS if coming off at the train station!! Hostel is well sign posted, so easy to find. Good couple of days spent here.

The usual Egypt hustle goes here too although they did come through after being talked into buying ferry tickets and then the ferry did not go and we got our money back, it is a good place but as everywhere in egypt BEWARE of th.e HUSTLE they live it everyday and maybe one day they will learn that they are shooting themselves in the foot both feet actually. NO trust here at all be careful.

Reasonable budget accomodation, tucked away in a small but vibrant residential street. Nice clean rooms, with friendly and helpful staff (i'll overlook the annoying and all too frequent pitches for their tours). Can at times be noisy if you're in a front room... sometimes from the street noise but more commonly Mr. Ibrahim going nuts at his staff! All that aside, decent.
