Great location, great staff, spacious rooms and common areas and everything is really clean and well maintained. The restaurant on the ground floor is very good too. When some other guests behaved inappropriately during the last night of my stay the staff came to the room to apologize the next morning and offered a free meal. Overall highly recommend this place

Very clean & comfortable with great kitchen & common area. Not a lot of information on what to do in Kaohsiung provided.

I really liked the hostel rooms and also that the common area is so huge! Same goes for the kitchen area (which is a superbig plus)! I guess the only complain I have is that the beds in my room were really noisy (please note, not the mattress, it's the wood of the beds). You cannot move around withhout making a sound.

Amazing place. Staff are very nice and understanding (but not very knowledgable about anything outside Kaohsiung). Grat facilities, love the lockers in the dorm room, and that the dorm can be locked. Very clean, easy to get to, but a bit far from town and difficult to find.

The. Best. Hostel. Ever. Clean, cute, quiet, the staff was fantastic. Tours available, close to a morning market. LOVED the lockers in all the rooms and that they came included! Loved it.

Lots of space. excellent new facilities. Greta roof top when its open. Pay close attention to directions - how to find it.

Helpful staff, clean and spacious. Everything was good except that the rooftop (the reason I booked this hostel) is under renovation so that was disappointing.

Good hostel, was pretty quiet when I was there atmosphere wise...would have extended my stay but there was construction work going on so I switched hostel

The hostel location was a little too tactical and hidden. We got lost few times trying to find the location initially as locals there perpetually pinpoint the wrong location to us. The choice of postcards available for purchase was too limited with little design. Overall, it was still a good hostel with good and cheap food nearby, ideal for backpackers. :)

As it was a last-minute trip, I didn't expect to find a good place to stay, much less any vacancy. Harbourviews Hostel was a gem, given its location (conveniently) located near the Sanduo Shopping District MRT station, and neighbors with the 2nd tallest building in Taiwan. Rooms are cleaned daily. Also worth noting would be the roof deck for chilling. My stay was well-enjoyed thanks to the great service provided by the staff, particularly Jennifer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great hostel. I was surprised I was able to find such a decent place at a very reasonable price over the CNY period at last minute. The location is convenient and very easy to find. Has a nice big common room area. The staff are helpful in pointing out the decent places to go around town. All in all a good few days. :)

Have fun trying to miss the place with the biggest way point in the city right next door ! Its quite custom built inside with huge bathrooms, plenty of the showers etc but still feels like a hostel rather than some hotel which is cool. Atmosphere only lacking because it was waaaay off season

Very nice hostel directly next to the Kaohsiung 85 and a cinema (movies for 200 NTD). Beds are okay, the roof terrace is very nice. Distance to next KRT station: 8min Also great atmosphere in the common rooms includig a small kitchen and computers. Would definately recommend.

Overall a good stay. The only problem is that we were on the second floor and the room closest to the common area. At night, it got pretty noisy as some boys were outside using the internet and the were talking and laughing really loudly even at 2am! Other than that, it was faultless.

Very nice place. The entire street is lined up with inns that face the beach (there is however a road inbetween). There is a construction of another hotel right next door from Harbour Views (December 2014) which was a little bit unpleasant thanks to the noise.

Great place. Mi Casita food was wonderful. Beds were REALLY hard though....Bikes also need to be maintain better.
