A steep climb uphill from the city center. Furthermore, it was all quite basic, clean but not spotless, some facilities available, but not too much. Best features are the view from the outdoor terrace (too bad it was 10 degrees when i was there) and the really helpful girl working there.

Harris hostel was comfortable to stay in. Kitchen facilities were good. During off season its a bit slow but peak season would show different. Harris who owns the hostel is first person I met, fantastic staff, helpful and informative.

The owner of this hostel is very knowledgeable and welcoming. The common room and kitchen are large and well equipped. It was out of season when I was here and very quiet so cannot comment on the atmosphere too much. Overall I had a great time and met a few interesting people. If you want to make sure you can come a go freely without someone needing to buzz you in, make sure you are given a keycard.

Amazing hostel in an awesome city! Haris and his family are great hosts. Excellent facilities including a stunning view from the terrace. It's also one of the cleanest hostels I've seen so far. I'll be back as soon as I can!

Just staying at this place will make your visit to Sarajevo unforgettable. Haris is very cool and likes showing guests around and telling them about the city, which you can't really appreciate without a local's perspective. It's a clean, well-kept hostel with solid facilities. You do have to climb a hill for about 5 minutes to get there, but it isn't a huge deal, and it gives you a good view of the city. If you have heavy luggage you can just get a taxi from the old town for a couple euros.

Our stay at Haris Hostel was very nice, we really enjoyed our week there. Haris is a really cool and friendly guy. He was always there for us when we had any questions. The hostel is located at the side of a hill so that you have a wonderful view of Sarajevo. We also did the city tour with Haris and have seen places we wouldn't have seen otherwise - really unforgettable. Everyone who stays at Haris should do the tour!

This is a pretty good hostel - not the best I've stayed at, but definitely not the worst either. Has all the facilities that you need, Haris is a really nice guy, and there's definitely nothing wrong with the place itself. The only thing that people should note before they come here is that the walk up the hill is actually quite a difficult walk to do with backpacks/suitcases. So keep that in mind if you plan on staying here, you'll definitely be better off to get a taxi rather than walk.

It can be a little hard to find because it is a the top of a hill, but when you are up there the view is spectacular. Haris is an amazing host.

I was originally only going to spend a few days in Sarajevo but cause of Haris and the spirit of the city I spent more than a week. Haris is a great tour guide, knows all the local haunts which is very helpful to get the best picture of Sarajevo and all around great guy! He loves his city and wants everyone to love it as well! It was a great experience and am looking forward to a summer trip.

Very clean place, nice location, good price. The owner is awesome, picked us up from the station. Knows alot about Sarajevo, could have been a tour guide, though he did give us one. I highly recommend this hostel. Thanks for everything Haris and see you again, maybe very soon, Blagodarim!

Upon my Arrival Mr Pamuk was greatly warm and friendly. He replied all the boring questions that I asked and made me feel at my home. To be honest this is the first hostel that I cried leaving. I extended my stay and stayed 2 more extra night. If I hadn't had to get back to Istanbul I would have stayed forever. There was a construction in the common room but I didn't even feel it. Everything was perfectly fine. If you go to Sarajevo. YOU MUST STAY THERE
