Very nice and clean hostel with excellent staff. They kept my mail for me and were very helpful whenever I needed something. Location was ok, the distances looked bigger on the map than in reality. Still we got lost the first day.

An ensuite with 2 showers and one toilet all in one room wasn't that great for 12 people! The cinema lounge and retro zone were brilliant though.

Hatters in Birmingham is a great hostel! I was travelling by myself. The hostel had everything I needed. Daily activites are also great. Pub Crawl on saturday night with the gudie Tom is a must. I will be staying with hatters again in the future.

Friendly, helpful, committed staff, quiet location, not remote from city centre, good character and fairly clean.

This hostel was pretty cool and in the Jewelry district. The Irish guy at the front is super helpful! Clean enough and a good atmosphere.

Really enjoyed my stay and the staff were very friendly. Fun pub crawl on Saturday. The only suggestion I would make is lockers in the room. Otherwise, everything was great!

Cheap and cheerful. Facilities are basic but adequate, and quite good considering the price. The location's not very good - it's a bit far out on the edge, about a 30-40 minute walk from Birmingham New Street station. I'd say it's exactly what you'd expect from a very cheap backpackers' hostel.

I particularly enjoyed being part of the 40 strong party that went on the pub crawl lead by Tom who was an excellent shepherd even when he hurt his foot and found walking difficult his thoughts were for the group.
