Hostel was centrally located although 10 minute walk to the shopping and museums. Kitchen was a bit small and no Wi/fi in rooms. There was an amazing tv room with a massive tv. And Internet room and a (Games room) which include a N64 with Mario Kart and Golden eye! Hostel was huge but was set up well to meet people. Rooms were good size with privacy curtains on the beds.

This is the second time I've stayed here and I recommended a friend stay this time too, we both had absolutely no problems and if I need to stay in the area again I would certainly come back!

A great place to stay! The hostel was clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the friendliness of the fellow travelers and staff. Have to mention also the location, which was very convenient for getting to main nightlife and shopping areas, as well as there being a bunch of good pubs and restaurants just round the corner from the building. I had a very pleasant experience!

The hostel has a nice communal setup but the atmosphere didn't seem very lively - probably just Birmingham. Rooms were alright (nothing amazing). Staff were pleasant but not inspirational. All in all, good for the price we paid, especially if you just want to chill out in the common area.

Instead of free TOAST 24/7 I´d rather use the money e.g. for the CLEANING: for how long time had the smoke alarm of our room been blocked by toilet paper?!

Absolutely loved the administrator - an Aussie guy. Made my morning by being all shining and in a good mood. Thank you! Will definitely recommend the place to everyone!

More of a refuge than a hostel. There were no lockers for valuables which wasn't very useful. The 8 bed mixed room was heated by electric heaters which made the room unbearable and tiring, plus the windows didn't open so there was no air. The blinds were broken so people could see in from the street which was uncomfortable. When checking in I felt like I was interrupting the staff social time. The bedroom doors didn't lock properly and people could walk in off the street! Also, it was dirty.

It's not far out of town, but it's quite a dodgy walk to get there! If you're in a group, it's fine, but as I was a girl on my own, I had to take a taxi when I returned at 10.30pm

Friendly staff, clean and modern, cool hangout room downstairs with plenty of sociable people and chances to meet other guests. 24 hour reception was also a huge bonus! Also liked the free breakfast and free wifi came in very handy

We've been here before but it seems to get worse instead of better. - we booked a 4 dorm room but had to sleep in a 4 bed cabin in a 40 bed room, which was much more noisy, - only one toilet for the 40 bed dorm and it was very dirty - very dirty underneath the bed - one of us got some rash on the legs after sleeping in one of the beds. - wrong advice on opening times for the banks.

We stayed in one of the new private rooms. It was like staying in a designer New York hotel. Really nice and very good value. All facilities were top notch and great staff, atmosphere and great people staying there. Will be back soon

Good place to stay for our needs, with plenty of space in our private 6-bed dormitory with ensuite facilities. Easy parking outside, and in close proximity to pubs and the city centre.

was here before and thought it was great until i came back again to find the former standards was not maintained, eg: broken tiles in the toilet, messy smelly kitchen (probably due to irresponsible visitors), the rooms were stuffy and not very clean, toilets were not cleaned in the basement(. anyhow, its a great hostel.
