Hatters Hostel- Liverpool Reviews

I came to Liverpool from Manchester, where I stayed at Hatters as well... back there they told me that I would get a 10% discount in my Liverpool stay since I stayed at the same hostel in Manchester, but when I got to Liv, they said that they couldn't give me the discount because I had booked trough the internet...???... so basically I was punished for booking in advance. It's not that much money (about 12 pounds) but I felt like it was really unfair.

A few things seemed to be out of order while I stayed there but the pub crawl to the famous cavern club was incredible! Definitely made my trip.

Very dirty.

This is a very large hostel that was completely empty when I was there. Good location, easy to find from train station. Beds comfortable but bathrooms were not so good, difficult to get hot water out and felt very unclean. Wifi is not very reliable and only available downstairs in the very uncomfortable basement. I think this hostel wouldbe alot of fun but possibly on a busier weekend.

Overall it's just OKAY,as the late booking for the weekend concert,this is the best I can find. What I like is that the luggage can be stored FREE in a locked room on the day of checking out! And the bathroom is very clean, shower gels equipped, and dry(important!!) And the staff at frontdesk is always a help! Love them! What I don't like : the building itself has been used for years, not new,bad smell on the corridors, stairs. No atmosphere, wifi access is POOR!! Only @basement, and weak!

I phoned up and cancelled 4 days before arrriving as my mate decided to put me up for the weekend, I better not have been charged! As you r sayin I stayed and do not know I didn't!

Well located, near the train station. Excelent staff and very helpful. There are no lockers in the rooms and there are not enough space in the rooms.

the double room was nice, clean and with a big bathroom with shower. the position of the hostel is really excellent, 10 minutes (or less) from the train station. we didn't expect breakfast was included too, which was great. staff was really nice too.

Breakfast was sparse. Location good though, very near the train station.

Good staff, great party atmosphere, fantastic common room for socialising, great restaurant/refectory. Quite small rooms but were quiet and clean. A great hostel!

The hostel is in a very good location, and as I arrived on one Monday, I found myself in the shared room with exclusivity, with good privacy and safety. It was a really good stay. 15 minutes walk from the cavern club. I recommend.

Thought it was a lovly relaxed place to stay.almost better than some hotels iv stayed in.rooms were lovly I would defo come here again :)

They had good security after 11pm, if you don't have a key, the security man doesn't let you in. There are so many place to just chill. But only thing is you can connect to wifi only in basement. And there aren't many space. It's not packed when I went the area but wish they had wifi in social area.
