The hostel is in a very good location, and as I arrived on one Monday, I found myself in the shared room with exclusivity, with good privacy and safety. It was a really good stay. 15 minutes walk from the cavern club. I recommend.

They had good security after 11pm, if you don't have a key, the security man doesn't let you in. There are so many place to just chill. But only thing is you can connect to wifi only in basement. And there aren't many space. It's not packed when I went the area but wish they had wifi in social area.

Staying in Hatters for 1 night has been a good choice, for a night out in Liverpool. It was and ideal place to stay. It is just slightly cheaper night out, if I'd stayed home. The atmosphere was just right. There was plenty of night life around the city area. The service was good. If you need extras, like towels is a quid or so extra. There are lockers in the dorm and inside washing facilities. Be aware not everyone understands your colloquial English.

Really enjoyed my stay there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say it was not so great was the very thin walls, I could here the person on the next room snoring during the night! But overall, It was great.

Beautiful building and a great bar/restaurant. Plenty of choice for breakfast. We stayed in the Derby Suite - a 10 bed dorm -really spacious and had two showers and two sinks - really handy for 10 ladies tarting up of the Grand National. We had another 10 bed dorm on the second floor next to a room occupied by a stag do - kept them up all night and although the guys were fined, £50 between 10 people isn't much of a deterrant - luck of the draw I guess when you stay in a hostel.

It was difficult to sleep because a group of drunk guys in the hall :( It's supposed that "it's not allowed", but they were there. Watch out with your toilets, they were very dirty :/ They did not flush. On the other hand, I really liked the guide that you provide with indications about hostel and also I think it's good that you keep visitor's luggage.

I stayed in a couple different rooms within the hostel and they varied a lot, the first was great and the second was horrible. It stunk but there were no windows for circulation so it always smelled disgusting and the floor was sticky. Not worth the price. I disliked how the wifi is only available in the basement and you have to sign in constantly. The breakfast is good, however, and good location.

I am sorry to tell but I think the price was still too expensive for what we got.The bedroom was average, the tapestry was torn. The bedsheets had stains and the towels provided were so rough, please use some conditioner! We got woken up 3 times at 5am by people knocking on the walls, the doors and shooting in the corridor! Not the best experience...The worst was the breakfast! It was more than basic. No orange juice, no hot chocolate, croissants only the first morning, very disappointing!
