I loved the hostel! I've only been to one other before this one, but I would definitely stay there again. The staff were friendly and helpful. I am a person who asks a lot of questions and might come off as high maintenance with all of my questions but they were really good. The rooms were spacious and very clean. I enjoyed how the atmosphere lent towards making friends. Everyone it seemed felt at home there. I would definitely recommemde Hatters to whoever is going to Liverpool!

The lockers provided are far too expensive to use. Otherwise very nice quite original dorms, en-suite a big plus. Breakfast sufficient.

Great place and huge place, can get lonely sometimes because of that, but other than that we loved our stay, it is close to everything! We will recommend it!

It was great, the only problem was the fact that due to strong wind the door wasn't firmly attached to its base and the result was a minor noise that nevertheless had a negative effect to the peaceful atmosphere.

I was surprised at the requirement for photo ID - I don't carry my passport while in Britain, so it would have been useful to know you needed it in advance.

we four girls just took the 4 bed room with the ensuite..it is great!!!quite convenient and when we came in this hostel i saw people playing pool in the games room, great atmosphere...the staff is helpful and nice...actually what i am most satisfied with is that you can find 4(or 5) sockets in the room so everybody can charge the semi-dead devices after a battery-running-out day without waiting for ur turn it is the most great hostel i've ever stayed.worth every penny

Great hostel, very friendly staff, good value for the money. Great location in central Liverpool only down side is alot of noise from other rooms although this did not bother us and it was new years weekend after all.

Although I had my toiletries, sometimes it is helpful to have a shower gel and a shampoo. It would be nice to have a lock to secure some valuables.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hostel. We were thrilled at the size of the room, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially seeing as it was boxing day! We would recommend the double room to any couple looking to stay in the area, it was clean, private, safe and in a great location to the city centre and train stations.
