It's ok, you pay what you get for. It's clean, location is close to central train station, you can walk anywhere. Positive aspect also is that, different from the other Hatters, here they individual lockers in the rooms. Negative? There was a couple of mosquitoes swimming in the juice served for breakfast...

First time spending a night in Liverpool, the Hatters is the perfect choice. Located in heart of Liverpool, only a short walk to Liverpool One, Lime Street Rail Station, Metropolitan Cathedral, Liverpool Cathedral and Albert Docks. It would only be better if there are security lockers in room, otherwise, will definitely return and recommend to friends.

We stayed in a 3bed room with ensuite, which was spacious and clean. Good location, close to supermarket, train station and only a short wark to liverpool sights and city center. good and free breakfast. would recommend staying there and will be back next time in liverpool.

I did like the hostel, I recommend you it if you go to Liverpool. The location is great, I went by bus from Manchester and the stop was so close. Amazing staff, they were really friendly when we arrived and we were following a walking day map that they have in reception and it was really useful. Ask for it ;) The cleanliness was ok, better than the 'cleanliness' in hostels. And we didn't know, but we had the breakfast included! It wasn't like a 5stars breakfas, of course, but it was perfect

This is a well-run hostel staffed by friendly, helpful people. The doubel en suite rooms are really good value for money and the hostel has lots of info about old pubs in the area and all kinds of activities. We also booked a eatles taxi tour for 6 through them, which was great

friendly staff, excellent location (bus stop from airport 5 min walk, train station 5 min walk, nearest pub 5 min walk and good breakfast cafe (arabic) 2 min) ... sometimes a little noisy, but what can you do about drunken guests ...

Really a whirlwind visit, in late at night then out the next morning pre-breakfast... will get a chance for a better look in a few weeks.

Good location in a nice building, friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms (I slept in a private room though). The hostel is compared to others very secure - for example the luggage room is locked and you get a number for every bag you leave there and need that number to pick it up again. The breakfast was compared to other hostels alright.

Good place to stay definitely. I was planning to spend one night at Liverpool, after seeing this hostel, I decided to stay one more night and leave the next day. Next time I'd book my place without searching for anywhere else.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Good advice from desk staff about places to eat - we wouldn't have found the Egg on our own - and the real ale pubs and, generally, the things to see and do.Very good shower. Regarding the Saturday night, we slept little! Perhaps it would help if people were warned against shouting at 2 in the morning.

Perfectly acceptable hostel, though when I stayed there it was really quiet and in such a large building that pretty much means that you don't even run into people in the corridors. An easy walk from Lime St station, it's fairly clean though my shower had a tendency to flood. It's downside was it's lack of energy or fun, but it's just fine as a place to sleep.

We had a really comfortable stay & the staff were so friendly & helpful. I was just sorry it was a short stay & we didn't have more time to enjoy the activity nights, looked like a fun place to be for more than a quick stay. I would recommend it to friends & would return to Hatters Liverpool again. (I have stayed at Hatters in Manchester previously & that is why I decided to go with Hatters for my Liverpool stay) Thanks everyone.
