Property Information:
Hilton Chambers has changed it's name to Hatters at Hilton Chambers. It is not a drastic change but one which will hopefully encourage you to explore our sister Hatters hostels throughout the country. Hatters at Hilton Chambers is a modern take on backpacking style accommodation also providing comfy large private bedrooms.
We provide ensuite dormitories and private rooms all of which are designed for the more modern backpacker or those looking for something with, we like to think, an extra little touch of class than most city centre backpacker hostels.
We provide 24 hours breakfast free tea/coffee/Juice and toast all day every day to everyone staying!
Our hostel is also really close to the train station and ridiculously close to all the main forms of public transport. We provide FREE WI FI in the common areas and have computers for guests without their own laptops.
Our private rooms have modern televisions and a shared secret private kitchen. We have a cosy lounge were you can watch films from our wide range of DVDs or play games on the Playstation. We also have other games such as darts, mini snooker and Fuzball. We sometimes have a BBQ on our rooftop garden of eden were the sun always shines on you and Manchester!!!
Our friendly staff know all about Manchester so if you need to ask us about anything please do. We have been providing our guests some of the best service in Manchester since we opened in 2006 will continue to do so in the future.

** Cancellations must be made by 12pm on the day before arrival otherwise the first night will be charged if you fail to arrive or cancel late **
** Please note that 4/6 share rooms, and 8/10 share rooms are of equal value and are interchangable **
** GROUPS OF 7-14 MUST PAY 1 WEEK BEFORE ARRIVAL, IF THE BOOKING IS NOT PAID BY THIS TIME WE WILL CHARGE THE CARD ON THE BOOKING. We need all names of the group 1 week before arrival
Cancelations for 7-14 must be 1 week before arrival otherwise you will be charge for the whole stay. * **

We require photo ID and a valid debit card to stay with us*

Latest Review
A clean and well-run place, though perhaps a but more like a hotel than hostel. Not sure why, but I think I'd have enjoyed it more if I were traveling as part of a group. I lucked out in having a six-bed room and ensuite bathroom all to myself for two nights. Bring earplugs. Hilton street is crowded with pubs and restaurants and otherwise you might find it hard to sleep. The only heating for my room was a space heater, provided. Great location. Would stay again.

Cancellation Policy
This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
- All bookings will be subject to preauthorisation of credit card details. For any details not authorised the booking will automatically be cancelled.
- Groups of between 7 and 14 pax will be charged full amount within a week of arrival. This is non-refundable. Cancellations or amendments for such bookings must be made before 12 noon 1 week prior to the day of arrival
- Groups of 15 pax or more must contact the hostel directly to make a booking
