we enjoyed our stay in Hatters despite our 1 night stay. We were skeptical about the standard and the quality of our stay and services provided in this hostel after a bad experience from the previous night stay in another hostel. However, we were surprise and delighted for what we saw, what we get and what we experienced. This place is very near from the Bus interchange, Train station and loads of bars, eatries around the corners. People are friendly and it is in a safe location.

Besides finding someone asleep in my bed when I came in my stay was pretty great.

You can book a computer at the hostel, but it will cost you 2 pounds an hour. also, you need to pay for a towel. The free breakfast is quite O.K., though, and you can have a free cup of tea or coffee any time you feel like it.

This branch of Hatters is quiet, respectful & you can get a peaceful night's sleep. Staff are polite & helpful, and the kitchen facilities are great. I would like to stay here more often if I could.

The staff are very nice and friendly. .The kitchen and TV lougue are very comfortable for my stay. The Location is excellent which is about 3-5 minutes from Piccadily Garden and 7-8 minutes from Piccadily railway station. Free wifi is provided within common area, but not available in room. Any way, I feel happy during my stay and will continue to stay there next time.

I enjoyed my stay. Everything was clean. I should have noted in my reservation that I needed a bottom bunk as I was unable to get to a top bunk, but an understanding roommate switched with me and all was good. You might want to mention, though, in your reservation page that if people have mobility issues that there are stairs and to reserve a bottom bunk.

Nice environment, friendly staff. En-suite bathroom was fairly spacious. Convenient location and great value for money - would definitely recommend.

The beds-especially the matresses were very uncomfortable - the beds made noises the whole night and after 3 nights my back hurts because of the old matress

One of the worst hostels that I've stayed. There was so much noise. Lots of french teenagers were running through the place and yelling a lot, and the guy at the reception simply didn't do anything, he just watched everything. Besides, the bathrooms were dirty. Before I arrive I had already decided to stay 2 days, but after all this mess I left the place at 4 am of the following day.

The walls in the rooms weren't particularly clean. Upon first arriving and lying down on the bed there were 'bogies' on the walls beside the bed. On the day we were due to check-out at 11, a member of staff walked into our room at 9.45 to tell us to get up. He came back at ten to 11 as well. We are all adults and perfectly capable of getting up and organising ourselves of our own accord. Felt this was pushy and invasive. Reception staff were great though.
