Reported problems with the TV on arrival Friday ~ 4.30pm, Friday ~ midnight, Saturday~9.30am, Saturday~midnight. Met with shrugs, nobody knew anything, as far as I could tell nobody did anything. Told the staff this was probably a problem that would have been fixed by turning the tuner off and on again. As far as I know nobody tried this. A shrug was easier.

We were there on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night and it was pretty noisy in the street below. On Friday and Saturday, people were being loud in the corridor, in front of bedroom doors, which was annoying. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay. Kitchen was well equipped, breakfast okay, friendly staff, clean showers and toilets.

I liked the atmosphere and location of the hostel, very close to shops, cafes and pubs. We had a private room which was big and clean and did not feel disturbed by any one else. It's good that you need the card to open the door to get to the stairs where all the rooms are as well as that you have to show the card at the reception when arriving after 10 at night.

Free breakfast was great and it is halfway between the main train station and downtown. Can walk anywhere from here :)

Great stay and experience. The location is perfect. My single room was clean. And their Saturday night pub crawl was great!

Good hostel, it had breakfast and free bread and coffee throughout the day which was nice. It was clean and had a cosy communal area. Nice ensuite bathroom as well.

Stayed here several times. Fine as per usual. If you want a more social experience stay at the Older Hatters down the street.

Only had a short stay at this hostel, but it was memorable. We met a lot of cool people and I think that we in part due to how gathering rooms were set up in the place. The location was amazing, just a few minute walk to the main train and bus station, and even closer to the trams. I wish we had stayed longer!

Very good location Staff are friendly and helpful thouugh remember your passport or driving licence even if your a U.K citizen. Location The location of the hostel in the Norhern quarter is very quirky with it,s individual shops retro etc and bars, it has a lot of character.
