It's a very good hostel and the staff is excellent! But the bar crawl organized by the hostel has to be really the worst bar crawl that i have ever been on. Apart from that i had a very good time!

It is in a very good location, but really expensive. And you have to pay for pub crawls etc. quite a bit.

A way of getting in touch with hostel staff from 4th floor would be nice (unless you want to walk down 4 flights of stairs in your pyjamas at 3 a.m. to complain about drunks banging and kicking at doors for 20mins); free tea+toast all day are nice, keep it up! tv room was cold (provide blankets?); good music in the kitchen/lounge area, I enjoyed that :)

they need to fix the plumbing, we couldn't sleep because there was a loud droning sort of sound anytime anyone turned on the tap- good location though

I really like the location of the hostel which is in the middle of bus terminals and main station as well as next to main area. The hostel itself I would rate as average. Rooms are well over heated and water pressure pump makes a lot of noise if you stay next to the bathroom. The temperature of the showers can't be changed and water flows for 10sec for each button push! Beds are not most comfy once and there are no lockers in the room. You might get one at reception.

This was my second stay at this hostel and again it didn't disappoint. Great atmosphere and had an awesome time on the pub crawl. Was situated on the 4th floor so the stairs were a workout! Excellent location for everything. The only problem was that our room was extremely hot and stuffy- windows didn't open properly. Good value for money. I found that it was pretty male dominated but that was probably due to the Manchester game that was on while we were there. Overall good hostel!

This hostel is the best one i´ve been to... The staff is friendly and helpful /especially the slowakian guys/, everything was clean, breakfast and all-day-long toasts were great. If i should go to Manchester again, i would choose this hostel again.

This is a great hostel! The only one unacceptable thing is there's only one hot water (70 Centigrade) plumbing supplied in shower room. OMG Plz improve this by supplying one tab with hot and cold water!

Pretty much what you would expect from a hostel this big. Good for a place to sleep but if you just hanging out better to be out around the city.

We really enjoyed our stay, the hostel providing all we could think of - luggage storage, free breakfast, free toast & tea & coffee, excellent location. It was actually quite warm in the room (5th floor) but you could open the window so we didn't mind. Definitely would choose it again for next visit to Manchester, which, for us, was amazing as well.
