Should control noise in the hallways at night. I've been twice in the hostel, one in Newton and one in Hilton, on Saturday night can not sleep. Moreover, it is excellent, very well located, clean ...

Great place to stay if you are only spending 1 or 2 nights in Manchester. Beds were comfortable and the staff were very friendly, security was great as well! Only complaint was that the lack of insulation in the shower room made the room quite cold!

it's very close to the train station. the best choice for people who want to transfer to other places as well as for shopping in the city center.

Not a bad stay, but the showers weren't very good and some parts of the hostel were poorly heated - which was a bit of a problem in winter. The hostel organised activities like pub crawls and movie nights, which made the stay more enjoyable.

Hostal well located, 10 minutes walk from the train station or 5 minutosde tram station. It's a very big hostel, many people are staying and maybe that a bit congested areas. They offer 24-hour coffee, bread, butter, and a toaster for the bread machine. Breakfast good, not the best I've had but overall is good, the only thing is you have to wash what you use to breakfast. In rest all ok. Would surely this hostel.

Really great hostel, staff were very friendly and talked me through the good places in Manchester to see. The rooms were fine but the showers were a huge let down. I had to push the button every 5 seconds to get water and you couldn't change the temperature so my shower was cold. Not a big deal but is upsetting considering the rest of the hostel is great

This hostel was a pleasant stay. Its located close to the city center square Piccadilly Gardens (5mins walk) and main railway station Piccadilly (10mins walk). Basic breakfast included, If you dont have your own computer or mobile device you can use hostels computers for internet for 30mins/1pound. Quite large lounge room in the ground floor is good meeting point to make new friends.

Overall good hostel. Reasonably clean, comfortable and safe. From memory, there were no big lockers to store luggage, but smaller lockers that could fit a backpack. The wifi and free breakfast was good. Staff very nice and helpful.

It was expensive at £32 a night (with a mandatory stay of 2 nights on the wkend), especially considering how filthy the dorms, showers & toliets were; there's a nasty smell of raw sewage around the men's toliets & wc on the 1st floor. The wooden floors are covered in grime, they might be swept occasionally, but they look like they haven't been cleaned with steam or a mop & hot water with bleach in months or years. I informed a member of staff, who had no interest. Cold & noisy. No lockers.

Had a lovely stay, was not too busy due to the season and the TV room is really nice. Street noises were so loud though,, seemed like the trucks went right through the room. Would stay again though!

Great experience for one quick night in the city. I was able to get a single room for only 25 quid and my room was very nice, clean, and secure. It made for a comfortable night's sleep. I only had one issue with the place that could have been serious: there was no one to open the door and let me in when I came back around 11pm. I waited for someone to exit the building to get back in and if they hadn't come I could have been waiting outside for a long time.
