The house is a little far out but therefor has a spectacular view which you would not experience when living in the city itself. Only thing to complain about in the house itself is, that there is only 1 bathroom for all the 3 or 4 rooms. Everything else was lovely. Other comments did not proove right! (Breakfirst was fine (jam, cheese and meat on rolls, coffe or tea, juice and water) service was very nice (keyword is communication: if you ask you might get it, when you're nice they are nice).

Lovely place to stay with a view over the city. A little far out in that you have to get the train into town but the station is a short walk away and it's only a short trip in. If you are driving it is definitely cheaper to get the train as parking was very expensive in the city. The room was clean and cosy. Overall good value for money especially if you don't mind staying out of town or a looking for somewhere cosy but close.

My Mom and I stayed here for three nights. It was clean, quiet and very relaxing. Would definitely recommend staying here, but be aware that without a car, it can be quite a trek up the hill to the house with all of your things!

We spent a great time there during Easter holidays with my girlfriend. It's a real bargain considering that breakfast in included in the price. Christine is really helpful and can arrange your visits. The place might seem too far from the city center but it's just 15 minutes by bus or 4 minutes by train from the main station. Excellent if you need to stay quiet. Not the best if you want to go out late at night. Only issues: no Internet access and only one bathroom to share with the other rooms.

Beautiful location, friendly owner- was accommodating when we arrived very late due to snowy roads, lovely rooms, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was bread, toppings, meat and cheese and coffee and orange.

The inn is located off one stop on the train from Central Station. Then it takes s 8 minutes-walk up the hill and is rewarded with a beautiful view of the mountains. The rooms are clean and lovely. Christine is very nice and sells, among other things, the Salzburg Card, which I highly recommend. The breakfast is completely okay and you sit very nicely in the conservatory with a great panoramic view. Value for money is really good.

The location was a bit of a hike for us,as we were walking, but the view was well worth it! Christine was ver accommodating and helped us with everything we needed, and made us breakfast in the morning. The rooms were amazing and the house overall is gorgeous. I definitely recommend staying here!

We loved our stay at Haus Christine. The place was very beautiful and neatly kept. If you are considering this hostel, the only cautions I would give are that you do share a bathroom with everyone else staying there (although there are sinks in every room) and it is up a hill. If these things are not an obstacle, I fully recommend Haus Christine, and if ever back in Salzburg, I would definitely stay there again!

it's a good deal for the price. it is located on a steep slope. quite exhausting to climb up especially with lots of luggage , however Christine was kind to pick us up at the train station. it is located at Salzburg Kazern which is just one stop from Salzburg HBF, hence it is convenient enough. there is only a train going to the city and back from the city every hour, hence it's important to plan beforehand or you will end up waiting a long time for the train. the view is amazing.

We had two very nice days there. You feel like you stay in some friends house. A bit off the city center of Salzburg, but very quite, up the hills with fantastic view around the nearest mountains, especially when you have your coffee and breakfast. You can use the bus to drive to the city. The rooms are nice and clean. The shower and toilet is outside of the room, but also very clean.Christine and her husband are very friendly and helpful locals, so i can really recommend "Haus Christine"...
