Probably their quietest time of year (mid January), which was an advantage to me. Really good price, especially as Munich is a pretty expensive city in general, and the breakfast quality / variety is really decent. My room had a lingering aroma of teenagers feet (!) and the showers were quirky, lacked privacy and soap, but spotlessly clean.

I only needed a place to stay overnight so it was not a big deal, but the quality of food and drinks served for breakfast is extremely poor: it would be better to either choose more decent products or leave people the chance to not have breakfast included in the bill. Common toilets might need refurbishing.

The hostel is packed with noisy teenagers. The disco downstairs operates even after midnight. I cannot stand it anymore.

Clean, comfy and a very social hostel, just wish we had more than 1 night there!

While I was at the hostel, I read that the hostel was for the 'young or the young at heart' and I guess I'm clearly not either now! When I got there I was perturbed to discover there was a disco on every night to 1am. Not what I really wanted - and it was audible throughout the building. Aside from this the secuirty was good, the staff were helpful and the food offered is good and cheap. If you're sort of over your mid-30s and on your annual holiday, maybe this isn't the right place for you!
