We booked the twin room which turned out to be a prison-cell like room with bunk beds and a concrete wall about 30cm from the window. Damp on ceiling and tiles hanging off. Bins in bathroom were not emptied regularly. However, the shared facilities (kitchen, lounge, dining area) were really nice and comfortable. The staff were nice and never unfriendly as reported in some reviews we saw. We stayed over Christmas - no attempt to make the place festive or fun. Best rooms are the 2 doubles upstairs

Good place to park off in Ushuaia. Staff helpful with local info and good welcome. Our room was comfy and warm (gas heater). Nice communal area near kitchen. Reasonably priced for high season, too!

this place is centrally located. unfortunately this is the only good thing about it.the place is very low maintained.always feels dirty. the color on the walls is peeling. the kitchen has minimal facilities and not even a rack to dry the dishes. the tap in the sink in running. the rooms have minimal furniture. not even a trash basket or towels in the bathroom.not a single touch of warmness on personal effort to make the place cozy or homey. the cheapest toilet paper. staff are not friendly.
