Arrived 2am and was given a key for room and a bedsheet. No blankets were given so I froze the first night. I asked following day if there was something which needed a deposit. Same for cutlery and plates. Would have been nice to have been told when I first checked in. Bed quite comfortable however, and showers nice and hot. Lovely old style building but could really do with some maintenance and a paint job to clean it up.

Blankets cost extra but breakfast was inclusive in the price. I think this should be vice versa.
i just love it here, every thing is handy including free bus. easy walk to town, close to drs hospitals, nice pool for summer and private outdoor area, big kitchen heaps fridge space, , really is value for money, i will be here for awhile yet plus i will return in july for six week.,. many people say WHY are you staying in backpackers when you can easily afford a hotel, its like this, if your on top deck titantic then you want to go below deck to have more fun. do you remember that part?? rose
