The rooms (I have been to a 6-mixed-dorm room) is too small, it is quite unpleasant, money is not safe, the bathing room are the absolute minimum. Besides, it could be cleaner.

Great location, clean and well maintained rooms, good atmosphere, though rubbish breakfast. Would highly recommend.

for 2 nights there was a lot of noise in the night (me and my roommates were up in the night because of it) from a room where everyone was sitting and shouting with the door open. I think they thought it was a bar orso... the breakfast was a bit lame...

It is a perfect hostel! Good location (very close to the beach and to the old city), friendly staff, clean rooms, 4 bathroom on the floor. Especially I like kitchen. It is very big and nice, you can put your food in the fringe and have free breacfast in the morning every day (free tea, coffe, sandwiches)! Cold and hot water in the shower. Very safe. If you go to Tel-Aviv, this hostel is that you need.

Great location. But that is about it. The staff, except for one nice person named Kelli, were disinterested, unhelpful, and were only interested in doing the bare minimum for the guests. The hostel seemed to attract all types of weirdos and the rooms were a little cramped. But, it is right on the beach, which is all I wanted, so it was suitable. Wouldn't stay there again.

It's bright yellow, so very hard to miss! It's a very short barefoot stroll to the beachfront, and convenient for buses to the central bus station. No real social area (the back room and the roof terrace are quite small), but the dorms are comfortable and clean. One minor bad point - no bedside powerpoints that I noticed. Functional without being spectacular (but I get the impression that's quite good for Tel Aviv!) - would stay here again if I came back to Israel.

We had a fantastic time - great staff, cheap beers and even participated in (and won!) a shabbat masterchef competition.

Hayarkon was a pleasant surprise during our trip to Tel Aviv. When we arrived the staff kindly informed us that putting us in a three bed private was much more convenient than the 12 bed dorm we had paid for us so they had switched our reservation for us. The kitchen was another nice surprise, not only was it large, clean, and reasonably well stocked, the hostel also had a generous supply of oil and spices for our use.

This was a great place near the beach with an awesome rooftop to hang out on. I met a lot of great people here and I would highly recommend staying here. With how expensive Israel is, this was a great deal.

A fine hostel close to the beach. Nice staff and a nice place to meet new people. Also easy to find.
