I stayed at Hayarkon 48 Hostel for a few days. I would highly recommend this place to anyone ( clean, hot showers, amazing atmosphere, very helpful staff, good location).

Good location, and great staff. Although you don't get keys for dormitory rooms. And very thin walls.

Again, the only thing really lacking here is some sort of character. There is little or no originality, and the price is also quite steep. Then again, Hayarkon caters to pretty much everything a backpacker could ever need, and the location is superb. So a good place to stay, just as long as you have a healthy budget and do not require originality!

Such a nice place that many tourists tend to get stuck in there and forget to step outside and see places. Definitely would go again

If you need a quiet place to sleep, ask for a room not by the street, because you won't sleep the whole night! It's very noisy outside with all the cars and honking (and yes, Israelis do honk even at 3am). If you get a room in the rear of the building it's fine (with earplugs for me), otherwise go somewhere else.

In terms of facilities, this was a decent hostel with internet access (additional charge), washing machines, kitchen and lounge area. However, the mix of guests in the hostel was terrible - older (age-wise) and evidently long-term guests marred my stay. These men (aged 40 to 50) behaved as if they were living in a private room, shouting at other people who wanted to use the room lights at night to find their belongings and snoring so loudly that sleeping was hard. Such guests should be banned.

Probably, the best Youth Hostel in Tel-Aviv.

I stayed at this hostel for 4 nights and I really enjoyed it. It's by the beach, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms and showers were clean. The only 2 downsides were the position of the room (on the main road which was quite noisy) and the breakfast could definitely be improved. Nice roof terrace for socialising at night.

The hostel was very very nice; at a very good location (nearly ON the beach), the staff was very helpfull, hot showers, very clean. A very very good hostel for solo-travelers; the common room downstairs and the rooftop are very nice places to meet people! I would definitely recommend this one!

Security: you get a locker for 1 NIS per day. Rooms are basic but clean.

Had an ok stay here. The security situation is a joke - there are no locks to the dorms, and no lockers in the dorms. There are lockers near the entrance, and you are encouraged to use them, but you need to pay to use them, and you're not allowed to use your own locks. Breakfast is terrible, staff weren't rude but weren't overly friendly, but it's very close to the beach, nice walk to Jaffa and not far to the restaurants and bars. I'd look elsewhere.

The hostel is clean and in a great location close to the beach & great Tel Aviv nightlife. The security isn't so great, no room keys or lockers in the rooms. Adjoining balconies make it easy for things to get stolen. But, they do have lockers downstairs for valuables, which is ok. The staff are nice and very helpful.

Way too noisy in front rooms. However staff happily moved me to rear dorm which was better.

Top location, only 1 minute from the beach at the end of Allenby Street. Bunk bed room was clean, with sufficient space and a balcony. AC was working well. Kitchen is well equipped. I recommend this place.

The boardwalk is a block away. The hostel is massive so it's tough to meet people travelling solo unless you luck out with roommates. Private balconies are sweet.
