All age ranges in the dorm rooms. From youth to middle aged individuals. Towels 3NIS, exchangeable for free. Convenient location: one block from the beach and two blocks from main avenues, 3-4 blocks to the Carmel Market.

very expensive because it's right next to the beach, but everything else is average. nice roof terrace and balconies off the dorms. they advertise free laptop-sized lockers but there are actually only like 4 of them for the whole hostel, so good luck getting one unless you want to pay an extra 15 shekels/day for a big paid one. i ended up moving to Florentine after 2 nights and prefer it (plus it's cheaper!)

Very poor breakfast. No juice, fruits or cheese. No yogurt, cereal or cottage cheese. Jelly was sugar only and after 10 minutes past 10:00 I couldn't get my breakfast it is ridiculous. No tv, no entertainment at all.

I enjoyed my stay although reception was not especially welcoming when I arrived and hardly exchanged words. It is overpriced compared to what you get for a better value in other nearby hostels around Tel Aviv, but very good if you wish to be social and roll out easily to the beach.

I only stayed here one night so I didn't get to experience it fully, but it was a pretty good hostel. Extremely good location - only a few minutes to the beach and nice common room.

Honestly, the only reason to stop at this hostel is because it's close to the beach. The location is fine, the staff wasn't really knowledgeable or helpful at times. The rooms were alright, and one night we came back late, and our two "roommates" stunk up the room so bad that we needed to change or suffucate. Luckily, they accomodated us, but ideally, I'd like to avoid rooming with people who don't cherish hygeine.

Hayarkon 48 is a large, busy hostel in an excellent location; the staff were very helpful, had adequate bathrooms and showers, and a large kitchen. Had in in house bar and very large common area, along with a large rooftop terrace. It is a little younger oriented, so a little busier and noisier, but social. The beds were fine, and the A/C worked well. I was satisfied with my stay, and would stay again...Michael USA

I've stayed 3 days in this hostel (i'm local); very good kitchen, good israeli typical breakfast, cheap bears to buy from there, tiny lockers for laptops are free and big onces costs 15 shekel, location is comfortable.

The breakfast was really terrible at the hostel. I think they could have really made it a bit better without too much effort. I think the hostel itself could also do with a bit of sprucing up instead of looking like something out of the 80s.

Hayarkon 48 is probably the best hostel in tel aviv. Its 100 meters from the beach, has comfortable beds and cheap prices. The atmosphere at Hayarkon is great and you have the chance to meet people from around the world. Most nights the people at the hostel go up to the roof for pre-drinks and a party. Highly recommend staying there if you are in tel aviv. Additionally they have a kitchen and laundery room and offer free breakfast in the mornings.

Fantastic place, stayed 4 days. Best thing about this hostel is the location; it's only one block from the beach and promenade, and it's easy to walk to most of Tel Aviv's sights from here. Helpful staff, great facilities, including breakfast. Definitely recommended for a stay in Tel Aviv, which is an awesome city, by the way.

very well equipped and big and very good maintained kitchen , nice balcony, nice staff. the private room was a bit spartanous, but the balcony made up for it. I was surprised that the hostel now offers a "real breakfast"- an improvement I enjoyed

Great hostel which really does it right. I stayed here multiple times and enjoyed it every time. Staff is welcoming and helpful. The location is right on the beach and close to the nightlife scene and the outdoor market. The atmosphere was great with very cool common spaces, regular events and meals and a pretty damn good breakfast. Would highly recommend this place to TLV travelers.
