About Hayesthorpe Hotel
The Hayesthorpe Hotel in Croydon is the perfect accommodation for the tired visitor / traveller and their families, who need a quiet place to rest, whether on a leisure trip or on a business visit to Croydon or London.
Situated in a quiet location of Croydon, away from the busy hubbub of London streets and close to Gatwick Airport and London Victoria as well, Croydon is about 20 minutes from either point by British Rail. A bus journey from the stop down the road on route 466 will take you direct to East Croydon Station in 10 minutes and you can be in the heart of London within a maximum of 50 minutes including the waiting times at the stop as well as the 5 minute walk to the bus stop.

We have a total of 28 rooms with a total of 49 beds at the Hayesthorpe Hotel, all well appointed and having full en-suite facilities, with the majority of them being twin bedded, 3 triples, 4 families and 6 singles. Some of the rooms enjoy superb garden views.
The Deluxe Suite has its very own conservatory lounge, overlooking the spacious garden.
We have discontinued our Restaurant for evening meals, simply because there are tons of restaurants just a short walk from the hotel, however if you want to eat in, you just have to inquire with the reception, where we will furnish you with Menus of Restaurants that will deliver your choice of Pizza, Chinese, Indian and even Kebabs.
We will even provide the cutlery for your convenience. This gives our guests a varied choice and longer availability. Alternatively there are myriads of cafes, bars and restaurants in all styles and price ranges in this bustling area and especially along the Brighton Road which is only a short walk away, with the majority of them being a 5 minute bus ride away.
If you prefer a pub feel then the Red Deer Pub is just a five minute walk down the road as well as for those who would prefer meals from the pub menu.
Meal requirements for large groups can be freshly prepared and served in-house provided a few days notice is given - to enable us organise the chef and produce. Please call or e-mail us to discuss your requirements and confirm the dates.
Barbecues can be organised for you and sizzled by our chef in our lovely garden setting (with prior arrangement) or you may opt to bring in your own foods / charcoal and we can hire out our BBQ facilities to you!
Relax in the Lounge / Bar where you can unwind with a drink, or if you prefer you may even have your drink on the patio or the spacious secluded garden.
