Javier is a very kind host even if he's not a fluent English speaker. We did not have a hard time communicating with him even if we also couldn't speak Spanish. Our room and bed was large and comfortable. Temperature was just right. He served us breakfast and even offered cheese and chorizos. He even laundried some clothes for us. He's one of the nicest hosts we've ever met. Thanks! One thing that we think needs improvement was the shower pressure because it was too weak the time we were there.

I stayed at this hostel for two days about a week ago, and I had a great time. Not only is Javier, the owner, a wonderful person, but the hostel also has everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you're visiting Barcelona this is a perfect hostel option, it's close to the city center but in the same time not in all the "tourist chaos". I'm very pleased with everything about my stay and actually don't have anything to complain about!
