Didn't like the 12-bed dorm, was a real tense atmosphere in there with all the different people, found it to be unfriendly. And when we left our bags in the storage room (as we checked out earlier than our flight was), no ID was required to get the key to the room with everyones bags in. Anyone off the street could have walked in and taken the bags. Perfect location.

I recommended anyone to give this hostel a miss, I stayed with a friend and we both had items stolen, the security is poor and amenities bad. The hostel is advertised as a theme to films but apart from the doors there isn't any atmosphere to this theme. Total disaster of a hostel.

Perfect location right in the red light district, pub and peep show next to it. Ask for a room with windows towards the water (Gracht), then you can view the nightlife in front.

The hostel was ok... but the bathroom was really DIRTY. They dcidn´t clean it at all while our stay. I founded gum under my pillow. The atmosphere was kinda creepy. The guests are mostly men.

Brekky was good great location heaps of people told me being right in the middle of the redlight distraict would stink of all things amsterdam but i was so happy with my stay here!

Fantastic location, felt secure during my stay, and staff were helpful in the few times I had to ask them anything. If I were to come back I would deffinatley consider staying there again.

The staff was not welcoming and not open The atmosphere was not welcoming as well

STAYED MANY TIMES IN THIS HOSTEL WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.GREAT LOCATION,GREAT STAFF WHO ALL SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH AND ARE VERY HELPFUL.ONLY ONE THING IF YOU ARRIVE OFF YOUR FLIGHT EARLY IN THE MORNING YOU CANT CHECK IN TILL 14 00HRS AND IF YOU ARE TIRED YOU JUST WANT TO REST.I KNOW THE STAFF HAVE TOO CLEAN THE ROOMS,BUT A BIT EARLIER WOUD HELP.WILL STAY AGAIN WHEN I AM IN AMSTERDAM AND WOULD RECOMEND THIS HOSTEL TO ANYBODY. Very Clean

I stayed in an 8 person room that was very spacious and clean. The lockers provided are more than large enough to fit a small suitcase or a backpack ensuring your belongings safety at all times, which was my biggest concern. Clean linen and towels are provided daily, the breakfast for 3 euro's is well worth the money and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location is right in the heart of the red district, and I loved it, it was so central and easy to get around

The staff was friendly and helpful and the hostel itself was much nicer than I was expecting! We stayed in a room with 10 people total and didn't have any trouble whatsoever with the other roommates. We were given extra towels upon request and everyone had their own locker to keep their belongings in. Overall, a great experience!

I found the hostel kind of dirty. bathrooms are very dark! urgent need of a makeover! breakfast is not included and it is not very good. staff is not good. lack of security for those entering and leaving the hostel. I do not recommend.

The security in the rooms was very good, you needed a code to enter the dorm and there were lockers in the rooms, but the luggage storage was very poorly secured. You want to have fun in Amsterdam and nyot have to worry about whether youre luggage will still be there when you return to collect it. The staff could explain a little bit more about the hostel when you arrive, such as when and where you can have breakfast, how the lockers work, whether you have to bring you sheets down, etc

The hostel was very dark. It is right at the end of the red light district due to which there was constant noise from the street. The staff was not that helpful.

It's a nice Hostel, but it's in the middle of the Red Light District which means you're constantly surrounded by the 'sex and drugs' side of Amsterdam. It's also close to the central station, which is very handy.

The room was either extremely hot or cold and you couldn't adjust the temperature. The bathrooms are too small - my knees would touch the other side of the wall when I sat on the toilet! And the showers were kinda gross. It was in a good location - about 5 minutes from Dam Square. There was no bar just couches downstairs in the lobby but they got crowded pretty quickly.

Very Good location, kept very clean would definitely recommend for anyone traveling on their own or with one friend. Because it is in the middle of the red light district it can get noisy but you get over that pretty quickly. Breakfast is very good and you get free Wifi so that is a plus as well. The safe in the hostel is really good for protecting your things while you are out as well and the themed rooms are pretty good as well.
