Average hostel beds are fine Lockers need your own padlock bar downstairs was reasonable breakfast costs extra but was reasonably good... hitch hikers guide to the galaxy theme not particularly noticable and there is a kitchen at a nearby hostel which you are able to use

It was very nice! Good locaitet in the central of amsterdam! Very big restroom with shower but i think there were bugs in my bed and in all of thouse from my room! I've got now everywhere red points on my body!!

Hostel was good, clean, safe and in a great location too (right in the middle of the red light district) It's quite noisy outside but our room was at the back of the building so nice and quiet. good sturdy lockers in the room. Breakfast in the hostel for 3 euro is fine! My only complaint is we weren't asked once in the 3 days to show our room key to proove we were staying there,which isn't the safest. Apart from that a great hostel,tip top! Will be staying there again!

Though the location was great and the staff were helpful, one cant help feeling insecure when there are roomates, especially those from third world countries, who are always high on drugs. I overheard one girl complaining about having a group of 7 unkown guys in the same room and they stole her things. She stormed off the hotel after cancelling her stay. I had a group of five dirty, inconsiderate and loud Indian tourists who spoiled three of my seven nights stay.

Cleanliness was very poor, the floor of the ensuite was always wet, with mold on the ceiling. Good central location right in the red light district and close to dam square. 8 bed room was very spacious.

The location of this hostel couldn't be better, it's right in the middle of the red light district wich is very, very central. The breakfast of this hostel is something you don't want to miss. The rooms are movie themed but they are really dark and they don't have windows. The hot water wasn't working when I was there and that was pretty bad, the beds are really comfortable but the toilets get easily dirty though they clean them everyday.

The heart of Amsterdam completely surprised me. We stayed there for 3 nights and couldn't be happier. The staff were really friendly and happy to help, the locker system paying a deposit only for thi was amazing and allowed a true feeling of security. The towels were clean each day and overal cleanliness was good! The 8 bed dorm we stayed in never once felt uncomfortable and the most important thing was location and as for that you couldn't get better! It really I in the heart of Amsterdam!

Top location. But not possible to open windows, so poor air quality. And noisy, take some earplugs. Street construction started at 7am so it was a short night. But this was an exception, usually there is no construction, just cleaning work. Be prepared.

This place is clean , you dont think you will get bed bugs or anything which is common in old buildings in high traffic cities like Amsterdam. Locations is prime. Nice clean bed sheets, great shower, Lockers in the room. Location is really the huge selling point for this hostel. Noise is surprisingly good too given its location.

As first time travelers to Europe, my buddy and I did not have much expectations after what we've heard and seen about hostels in Amsterdam. Our room was right next door to the pub and it was extremely loud at night.. if you are a sensitive sleeper then i wouldn't recommend it. Overall it was okay, not amazing and not poor. The girls who work there were sweet. This is right in the red light district so if you want somewhere less busy then stay elsewhere.
