I stayed only one night in eight bed dorm and everything was good. Location was perfect. Just in the middle of the center. It was clean and you had everything that you needed in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. I don't know that much about atmosphere but overall it was nice to stay there.

This hostel served is purpose for me, a place to shower and sleep. Each he'd has its own light and charging dock. The WiFi worked great. Made a friend. The front desk has plentiful information on what to do during the day. Everything is walking distance. Coffeehouse shops are 2 streets over. So much to do in this awesome town.

This hostel was great for young travellers as it has a great atmosphere and is right in the centre of the red light district (don't be put off by this, it's great!). It was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. I would definitely return and recommend to others.

The hostel is in a great location and feels surprisingly safe. The only issue is the bathroom shower does leak on to the floor, but that seemed to be the only issue. Breakfast was offered at €3 which was really useful.

My friend had her bag stolen from the hostel's lobby, additionally the hostel has avoided her calls and made no efforts to remedy or apologize for the situation.

The hostel was fine, big spacious 8 people room, comfy and strong beds, with a light and a plug in each bed. One bathroom ensuite for 8 people was not enough. Towel for free changed every day. I was there with 32ºC and there was just one fan so the room was very warm. Great lockers, really safe. Great location (in the red light district), Natalie from the reception and Susana form the brakfast room were really nice. 3 euro breakfast it is worth. No atmosphere. I'd choose this hostel again.

This hostel was like an oven. It was always too hot day and night. No laundry service. The guy next to me got bites at night. The locker was extremely small. It was tall instead of wide so it was hard to pack clothes or anything besides valuables. The location was right in the red light district so there was always hustle.

Bathroom smelt like poop. Good breakfast for 3Euro! Can't beat location.

Literally on the red light district, extremely noisy, especially when your bed is right next to the door that's on the street. Bring ear plugs!! Bathroom is clean, beds are not too bad for a hostel. One tiny common area in the middle of the rooms outside, not very sociable! Staff friendly enough. Didn't try breakfast. Security consists of a swipe card. Room and beds made daily with fresh towel which was nice. Close walking distance to Dam squire. Not a bad hostel, just in the worst area!

Perfectly good hostel, not the best atmosphere compared to others but feel safe there!

I stayed here for one night. I was nervous staying in the middle of the red light district but it ended up being okay. The room I was in was downstairs and not next to the street full of noisy people so I slept just fine. I also like that each bed has it's own outlet. Additionally, it was nice having a bathroom inside the dorm. My two issues were the lockers apparently are not included and the bed on the top is kind of hard to climb up to.

Everything that you need in a great location. Could do with providing a locker to each guest as there were three of us and only 1 locker provided.

Had an awesome stay at this hostel which is literally in the red light district. The location can't be beat, it is close to everything you need and majority of the city action. Even if you want to venture out farther, transit is easy and near by and staff were helpful in giving directions to destinations. The 8 person room I stayed in was a good size and had a large locker and storage area by your head which was nice. The ensuite was kind of smelly but still a bonus to have attached to the room

The location was great and close to everything. It's right at the edge of the redlight district so if that bothers you then you might want to look somewhere else. There is no real meeting spot so traveling alone it might be hard to make friends.

Not a bad hostel by any stretch, you get all of the necessities. One shower between 6 people is pushing it however, but the 3 euro breakfasts were quite good. Location wise, it's walking distance from many of Amsterdams main attractions, whatever your tastes are such as the Rembrandt house and Madame taussads. Also there's the red light district a stones throw away if that's the kind of thing that floats your boat. Overall, not a bad hostel at all.
