Great spot to stay for when you\'re catching a flight. If you make it to terminal 5 make sure to catch bus number 423 from Bus stop #7. It\'s free and just hop off once you make it to Old Bath Road. Backtrack a block and a half then your there, the Lodge is right across from a pub that serves decent fish and chips.

The employees where not kind at all and where very impatient with us. We got a double room, but the smell (smoke) was really bad. We changed into another room, but the only room available was a twin room. The staff didn't even appologise for the inconvenience.

Fire alarm kept going off and beeped all night due to steam from the shower. Showers not very clean.

Heathrow is just one free bus ride away from the airport. It has a very old feel and has a few really delicious pubs around the quaint neighborhood. I would recommend this place for your first night in London. The TV remote probably wont work, though. Sorry.

Good location to airport for easy access to flights. The shuttle not always running though, but you can go to terminal 5 and get the 423 bus which will drop you off and its free. The rooms are very average but its more for the location to airport. I wouldnt stay if you want luxury. There is a pub across the road and another 2 mins walk which have meals. Also a Macdonalds and Petrol/Gas station 5-10 mins walk (turn left as you come out of the lodge) Overall, its average but serves a purpose.
