We had a good time in the hostel. A watercooker for making some tea and an extra blanket would be fine. I think we will be in the same hostel the next time, kind regards, Hans

Well, the location is very good (station 7 of the Via Dolorosa) but the dormitory smells funny and the stuff (specially Lucy the chinese woman) are not so friendly.

Cleanliness is the biggest downside... also the heating is horrible in the rooms!!! The location is great! Another thing is the bathroom, the bathrooms in the suites have no doors, even for the room I stayed, where we shared with 5 people, there was no door for the bathroom!!!! Incredibly disappointing!!

I stayed in the women's dorm. Did not sleep all night. The women who work in the hostel also sleep in the dorm, and they were in and out of the room all night banging the door and talking on the phone while everyone was sleeping. I mean, seriously?

The hostel staff was either clueless or downright unfriendly. At one time the cleaner was cleaning the shower rooms, and we weren't allowed in until the floor dries up, which is kind of odd considering that it was a shower room. This also happened during the time the hot water was on, so we were lucky to get a hot shower in time. Also during the nights the hostel was freezing cold and the blankets were ridiculous.

The place is right in the middle of the market / old city, which is great as you have all the daytime going ons and most tourist stuff right off the door. At nighttime you need to leave the old city for nightlife entertainment as at 6 in the afternoon everything will be closing down. Dorms are ok, but private rooms are clearly not worth the money. Facilities are available in sufficient numbers, but not very clean. There us no security measures at all, except reception staff.

Boys running the place ROCK.they try their best to help you with your needs. Bedtime is not enforced by the management, as even after midnight, guests were noisy in the main living area which affected sleep. Rainy weather exposed leaks in the ceiling, and caused water to drip throughout the night in the room. There were no hooks in the private toilet, which was inconvenient. Laundry that was sent for cleaning was left forgotten in the rain and had to be rewashed, delaying their return by a day.
