Hutton Lodge is located in one of the best locations in Penang - at the heart of the city, just off Penang Road. It is ideally situated within walking distance of George Town's many tourist attractions.
Within a 5-minutes walk away from Hutton Lodge, there are choices of restaurants and food courts serving popular Penang street food at Jalan Leith and New World Park at Swatow Lane. Entertainment is aplenty with music lounges, bars, cafes and discotheques at the happening Upper Penang Road. Street markets are opened until late afternoon and closeby is the KOMTAR shopping complex and Prangin Mall. Reggae bars and cafes are also found on Jalan Chulia during the evenings.
All sightseeings are within walking distance from Hutton Lodge. There is the Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion with a daily guided tour at 10.00am and 3.00pm. The Penang Museum and Penang State Art Gallery at Dewan Sri Pinang is also nearby. There are morning markets in Little India, Jalan Campbell and Chowrasta wet market.
