The hostel had a friendly atmosphere and the staff were extremely helpful. There is a big kitchen and lounge area so is very easy to meet other guests, The only bad thing about the hostel was that there were only 2showers and one toilet for the entire hostel.

My favourite hostel so far! I loved the atmosphere. However there is only ONE bathroom for EVERYONE! It's a little ridiculous but the other facilities (aka the kitchen) were great and the atmosphere definitely made for fast friends. I suggest going on the weekend hike!

Excellent staff. Very clean and comfortable. However, the hostel needs to give better (more specific) directions.

Great hosts, the other travelers were nice. Really clean despite only 2 showers and 1 toilet for everyone. Great common areas. Would definitely stay again.

Very warm atmosphere, the people are welcoming and lovely. Since a small hostel, it is easy to make friends and know people. They clean every day themselves (they are young people working there from all around the world) and they are very efficient and nice. The kitchen is lovely, the rooms are cozy and the living room is wide and full of light. I very much enjoyed my stay there.

While the hostel has some obvious limitations in terms of facilities, the system nonetheless worked well and I would not heitate to recommend it to others. The staff are excellent.

Hidden in an old building near the VIeux-Port, this hostel has a very friendly staff, a very friendly atmosphere. You will certainly enjoy your stay at Hello Marseille if you like to meet people from around the world in a cozy yet lively place. Everything is kept clean, there is a Wifi spot, and you can be shown all the good places to hang out / eat / visit around.

This was a great hostel. It is located at Vieux Port, so by default is a bit of a walk from the train station (however, there is a metro train). The staff come from all over Europe and were all really nice and helpful. The facilities were clean, though there was just one toilet for the entire hostel (although not so bad, it's a pretty small hostel anyway). Great other guests the night we went, though I suppose it got a bit noisy for those who want total silence to sleep. Thank you!

some staff were very nice (Andre), but other staff were very non-inclusive and not welcoming. another toilet would also be useful.

A very nice place with friendly young people running it. There was also a large beautiful living room, perfect for inner activities. It was pretty quiet during the night. The only disadvantage were the lockers which were located beneath the beds and one could have access to them by lifting the mattress and passing his hand through the wooden support! Still I believe this is not a real problem as the place felt secure and there was always someone in charge around. A really good choice!

the salon and well fitted out kitcehn are awesome places to hang out and make friends with the other guests. Don't miss the day trips out hiking the Calanques with Nabil.
