Me and my 5 friends had the greatest time staying at HelloBCN. All the staff was super friendly and helpful! Not to mention the common room and the bar! It was a great way to meet new people and go out and enjoy Barcelona's night life! The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are among the cleanest I have seen in a hostel! I would totally recommend to everyone!

They organized night outings to various nightclubs, which was pretty cool. Except, Razzmataz, that place is ghetto! The staff was helpful, and they give you a key that is like a wristband and you need it to go in the hostel, your room, and your locker. The only thing I did not like was that they changed my room(on the last dayi was there) and my belongings, without notifying me first, because there was a" safety hazard". The previous night, a roomate of mine hadreported having beetles in her bed.

Very safe and well-run hostel pretty close to Las Ramblas. VERY loud at night so don't plan on getting too much sleep. Great party atmosphere if that's what you're looking for!

Very well located, close to the metro station and La Rambla. Has lockers in the rooms, common bathroom and a normal breakfast. The wifi internet also works in the third floor.

the cleaning ladies could be more tolerable to late sleepers, late shower & toilet users and our own way of arranging our stuffs in the room :)

Only thing I didn't really like was the loud party-music every morning at breakfast..

Very clean and friendly. The staff was very nice about offering things to do. Every night they go out to a different club and have some one who works there lead the way so you don't have to wonder around the city. It was in a nice location as well.

There was always someone at the desk which was comforting. The location was good but a bit far from the bars. You have to travel down La Rambla, which wasn't known to be the best area, but the subway is right at the corner and the centre is in walking distance. The people at the hostel were friendly, they had space to hang out but never felt the need or want to hang out at the hostel.

I had a nice stay at HelloBCN, the place is more geared towards the younger traveler, but since I only stayed there to get some sleep and take a shower in the morning it was all in all a pleasant way to visit Barcelona. Still, it's a hostel and not a hotel, so if you need to get some good sleep instead of a couple of hours rest, book a hotel.
