A basic no-frills Place that has a very central location and is good value for Money in expensive Sweden

Overall, it's a reasonable place with good facilities and (surprisingly) buffet breakfast which was extra plus. However, the old grumpy receptionist made me really uncomfortable with his greedy approach with cashing in money immediately. Payment should never been an issue whether it's at check-in or check-out depending on the personal circumstances. If this hostel (old grumpy man) is that eager to cash in money at check-in, please add to your advert that we collect money at check-in!!!!
There were different people walking around and some of them might be also workers...(who are working on renovation?) Shared bathroom and toilete are not clean enough, also room for breakfast. There was no evidence of any cleaning person at all. Facilities, mostly shared bathrooms are quite poor. Rooms need to be fresh painted.
Excellent kitchen facilities. Good bathroom facilities. Bed linen was rather worn and old. The stairs and the lift areas are rather cold and have the feel of a car park rather than a hostel. The security doors only add to this effect, making it fe3el a bit like a prison, but on the flip side, it does make for a secure environment. In conclusion, the hostel is fine to spend a night or two as it is clean, conveniently-located and decent value, but it's unlikely that one will make friends here.
Pretty weird hostel. Not much happening in it and quite basic. Thought Helsingborg in general would have more to offer than it did which probably meant I wanted to enjoy the hostel more. Don't really want to give the hostel a bad image purely because it is located in a town with not much in there. Would just skip Helsingborg in future.
The staff were approachable and easy to talk with. The hostels location is perfect-near to the bus and train station so we dont have to worry for the rush hour and traffic jam.I was not dissapointed of my one-night stay at the hostel and I for sure will come back to the place and probably stay longer than one-night.Thanks for the accomodition and welcoming me with warm smile.
too few electrical outlets in the room! just two for six people
If the stuff is clean, there is no reason to ask us to bring our own blanket.
don't leave your bike outside it will get stolen .. haha
Very good atmosphere and facitities. Staff was very kind and helpful.
We booked two beds in a 8-bed room, but given surprisingly a twin room! This is a very quiet place, breakfast is included and decent, the location is about 800m away from the train station and ferry. Very recommended!
You get what you pay for. Probably better to pay a little bit more and get something nicer.
Very decent place to stay while in Helsingborg. Plain with little character, but very clean and comfortable. Good location near the center. I would recommend it to others.
Cheap, tidy, our room was quite spacy, but just use it for sleeping, it's not worth lokking at.
No charm. It's clean enough but it feels like living in a prison, or a hospital ward. Didn't see the staff much.
i think it is quite a good hostel. the room was big. the kitchen was quite spacious. there was free breakfast (not decent but good enough: 3 kinds of bread, milk, margarine, 2 kinds of ham and cheese) and coffee and tea. there's free wifi. it is not to far from the station though it can be a bit tough if you have heavy luggage. i've noticed that there's only one bathroom (with toilet) and just another toilet at the hostel so during peak season, this might be a little problem.
