It was a very short stop for us, however Hem waited up for us as we arrived late. He made us feel at home and was very friendly. He even woke us up at 6am with a cup of chai so we wouldn't miss our train. We love you Hem! A true gent! Max and Gemma
The bedroom in which we have been received seemed to be the room of the guests. We have no windows, no place to put our dresses, the noise of our guest in the front piece until 24h... According to these conditions, the price was very high (we have experience of 13 nights in 5 other places before). We asked the guest to start. We have payed the night but he seems to be unsatisfied. So, it was really unpleasant.
Clean and good value for money. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Food here is good too.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great rooftop restaurant and view of the fort. Noisy from the dogs and traffic until late at night. Short walk to the Old City. Would stay there again.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We arrived here at 3am and even though they were fully booked, they gave us blankets and pillows and let us sleep in the living area free of charge. Amazing view of the Fort from the rooftop restaurant and a really cool location in the old city area.
I would recommend the Hem Guesthouse to anyone traveling in Jodhpur. The people were lovely and helpful, and the atmosphere was superb. The view of the fort from the rooftop was beautiful and the ladies made a delicious homemade Indian meal for lunch and dinner.
