Got picked up by a tuk tuk driver with signs with our names on for free!! Immediately we were happy! Arrived at the staff were lovely, so friendly, helpful and genuinely nice people! Good location, dorm rooms nice but rather hot as only fan and wifi quick and reliable. Free beer on arrival too and all for only $2 can't go wrong!

Very cute guest house with lovely place to chill, but the thing which makes the place incredible is the staff! Lovely people which makes this place a great one to stay!

The owners are very friendly and the facilities are adequate for the price that you pay. The tuktuk driver, DJ is really nice too. Not to mention a welcome drink when you arrive.

Value for money is 11 of 10 points and the owner seemd to be a really nice couple. Maybe as a small suggestion: I see the only room for improvement in the fans (dorm), as they are even at the first gear way to strong and close to the head.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at! Great atmosphere, wonderful staff and cosy armchairs to relax in after a busy day. For only two dollars a night, this is really good value for money. Stay here if you're in Battambang!

Very clean and friendly staff who helped us arrange our bus tickets to Phom Penh. The welcome beer was an absolutely fabulous surprise. The room was a bit hot at night cause we only had a fan. However, it was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hostel.

Janet was really friendly, the bar was a great place to hang out and chat. The dog barking at night kept us up for while, but other than that, its convenient to be able to have your meals where you're staying, especially when its so hot you don't feel like going anywhere.

I had a wonderful time at this hostel. The owners are really laid back and very friendly. They serve food all day and even have an amply supplied bar. It was a great place for meeting other travelers! I stayed in the dorm and was very comfortable except that it was quite warm and the fans didn't all work very well. The only real issue I can see is they do have a dog that is nice but isn't that well behaved. He took food right off my plate once. If you don't care for dogs, then maybe steer clear.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Facilities like breakfast are good, only no laundry service, bike rent. We had only cold water although we booked a room with hot water but we got some discount so that's nice. Nice bar downstairs. Quiet rooms.

Wonderful staff who are friendly, helpful and relaxed...they didn't make me pay all upfront and gave me a free beer on arrival. There's a great atmosphere in the bar - met lots of people, including people who came to the bar to hang out even though they were not staying there. A perfect place to hang out and relax for a couple of days...with just a few things to do in Battambang.

I loved staying at Here Be Dragons! It's a very nice little place and 2 USD/night is awesome. I stayed in the dorm; ground floor next to the bar and restaurant, eight big and fairly comfortable beds. A towel is included. The Wifi reaches the room and is pretty good; as long as there's no power cut, but that's not really anybody's fault is it. And they do have an emergency generator. Food is absolutely excellent and served more or less anytime. The staff is friendly and funny and very helpful

Excellent stay in a very chilled environment, great after temple hopping through Siem Reap. Western staff that was very helpful and a free beer at check in! Great value...highly recommended.

No mosquito nets and broken fans. I came out of this hostel with dozens of mosquito bites - it's also way to far from the city center, and an unpleasant walk for solo travelers after dark.

Great staff, very helpful. Only hostel in the city so great for a solo traveller to meet people. It looks far from the main town but its really only a 10 minute walk and the night market (food stalls) are just accross the river (5min walk) which is FAB! Only issue is no lockers so just make sure you lock your stuff in your bag properly. I had no problems.

I stayed in one of the private rooms for 2 nights. Nice clean room for the price. Food at the bar was excellent & I enjoyed the quiz that was on 1 night. Staff were great too :)

For 2 dollars a night you cant expect more. i feel that there is a lot of room for improvement but they are new owners so it ll take some time. However, they were kind and we had the BEST amok ever at their restaurant, no joke it was stunning!!!!

Nice bar and outside areas, rooms were alright,, staff was helpful. Great music. Overall a nice place.

The staff were very helpful and nice. Place is clean. I stayed in the 6 mixed dorm and it was great. The court yard in front of the hostel is great to just relax. If you are looking for a clean, quiet, place outside of the city then this is it for you. I would def. come back here if I ever go back to Battambang.
