The 'reception' is actually the counter of the chip shop. Our room door didn't lock, the beds are very squeaky, rickety & uncomfortable- *very* poor excuses for mattresses!! I ended up sharing the double with my friend, as she didn't trust the single bunk above not to collapse(and I'm not heavy). It was clean, but there was no hand towel in the toilet, and no soap. Curtain barely covered the window. It's very obvious the owners are in it for the money, traveller comfort clearly not a priority.

As we were staying a group, we got to see a lot of the rooms at the hostel, many had broken and dangerous beds, there were holes in the wall, complaints of dirty sheets and floors, two rooms lost all power on the first morning of our stay, the showers were either freezing cold or stifling hot. In my room the plug socket was dodgy and blew up my hairdryer, although this was resolved be the staff. Many people did not have heating that worked in their rooms.

Rooms are very basic but bathroom was included and everything was more or less clean. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Pretty ok for low budget.

It was brilliant location for nightlife everything in walking distance.Room was clean and warm however there is no towels,soap and shower water is cold.Staff are very friendly.

Staff is nice. Stayed in a three bedroom ensuite. Heater is on but still freezing in room. Guess d heater is not big enough. There's smelly socks and blanket under the bunk bed. This is not pleasant.
