The Best thing of this Place if the staff, Anh, the woman that is managing the place is really nice and helps you in whatever you need, they also have travel agency, as all the places but with really good prices. This place really value the price you pay. i recommend everybody to book this hotel and don't wait to arrive to the city.

We enjoyed our stay here. Good beds, wifi and free breakfast. They said our room didn't include air con but it says on website all rooms do. It was fine in the end they let us have it no problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were a bit damp smelling but it's not a major issue. Would stay again!

Really friendly staff, helpful in pointing us in the right direction for some nice food & things to do etc. Free upgrade to a nicer room which was a lovely surprise! Room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We were only in Hanoi for a very short time and had an early flight so didn't get to use the computers/try the breakfast. But I would recommend this as a nice place with good value for money.

Great location in Hanoi and incredibly cheap. Good breakfast (especially the french toast) and free internet. The dorm room I was in was spacious and comfortable, nice thick duvets which is great as it's pretty chilly in Hanoi! The woman who runs the hostel is very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were clean and the hostel is in a good location. While it lacks character, it is not a bad place to stay.

Bathroom smelled very badly, the whole room was really damp, cold, dark and a greasy food smell came in through the "window" all day and night. Cheap and ok breakfast but wouldn't stay here again. There's cheaper and better in the same area.

The staff here were some of the most unhelpful people I have ever come across. When We asked them if we could book a room for after our Halong Bay cruise, they quoted us a price almost double what they advertise on Hostelworld.

It was a shame that we visited this hotel during their Lunar New Year (Tet), as all their regular staff, who have gotten great reviews, were taking time off. The replacement staff were not fantastic. Lack of communication when checking in and they were unable to help us with our queries about popular sights. The room itself was quite poor, smelt very badly of mould every time we entered, and the bathroom ceiling was covered in mould and dripped condensation on you when brushing teeth. Not reccom

The teenager-looking guy staff during the first two days of Tet festival was horrible. His attitude was bad, always impatient and even sometimes shouted at guests. One day he left guests' passports randomly on the public table while he was out; this behavior is very irresponsible. He refused to have my money exchanged while on the door of the hostel it writes "Money Exchange". He is the worst hostel staff I have ever met, which made me have a really bad feeling of this hostel!

Very disappointed with this hostel. Employee broke the cardinal rule of the hostel community and lied to us about bus departures. He told us a major bus station was closed and that we would have to stay a second night and depart with his company in the morning. This was completely untrue - the bus station was fully operational with a bus leaving at a convenient time for us. Avoid this place and their scams!!

Clean hostel with friendly staff. Organized a great tour to ha long bay though I could've got it $25 cheaper elsewhere! Breakfast was not the best and shower had to be held in 1hand in my ensuite. It was ok though and for the money it could have been worse.

The welcom wasn't really warm, but the place is cheap so really good regarding the price. But for the trip like for Halong Bay, they charged me way too much, so I feel like having being cheated a little...

Great location and great breakfast! First floor is a tour operator agengy. The 8er dorm is clean and the bathroom is quite spacious. They have three computers for free use. We booked a tour to Halong Bay through the hostel, which was (as we realized afterwards) more expensive than the others from our tour had paid. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay in Hanoi, the staff was really friendly!
