I was given a room on the 4th floor and they do not have elevator. I had to carry my very heavy luggage on my own. As the room is small in size, the aircon in the room can be quite chilly after some hours. The toilet is clean and the bed is acceptable.

Metro station is a good walk the place is good for the money, offers more than avg hostels, internet into room was not the best, in lobby was fine.

I stayed in the basic en-suite room. I found the rooms though well furnished and clean, a little dissapointing. I would have liked a place to hang clothes, and I would have liked the water from the shower not to spray into the bedroom. The wifi though nice to have, was desperately slow. This for me would be enough to choose a different hostel.

This hostel is a okay spot to stay for a few nights. It is about a 10-15 min walk from the metro.. and the rooms are nice enough (although small). It is not a fun place to stay/ or the type of place you would stay if you are looking for a warm traveling hostel environment. This place feels much more like a hotel.

Nice place, pretty clean! The location not so bad, (not too far of the "yangjiang W. Road where there are a lot of night clubs) 10 min from the metro "The Chen Clan Academy" . Staff very nice but speaking a little bit english, and not enough able to help you to discover Guangzhou.

Wifi connection did not work in my room. Good hot shower and toilet paper. I hadn't expected there would be no towel. I appreciated the two different pillows. I was happy to find the water dispenser at the end of the hallway, however the next morning there was no water. The Muslim noodle restaurant across the street was good, and also had flat bread for sale which was perfect to take for the train. Farther down the street (left) is a convenience store and post office.

I would definetely stay Hi Inn Xin Hua again! Very good location, close to many touristic spots and the subway! I'm looking for Hostels from the same chain to stay when traveling around China. Thumbs up!

Great place, friendly staff (no english speaking, though), very clean place, central location (in the old downtown), walking distance from the subway station.

Limited use of English as they seem not to be very used to foreigners, but overall it was ok. If people at reception could speak more English it would be fantastic, otherwise a really nice hostel. Also, they don't seem to have the Chinese name of the road written on its description. That would help for us foreigners when we have to deal with a taxi driver :-)
