Gaston was a very helpful host! Place is cozy and clean. Room for improvement: room door locks are quite difficult to lock/unlock. Might be better to change it to something easier to open/close and less noise.👍🏼

Homely hostel with excellent, knowledgeable staff.

Gaston is what makes this hostel, he is such a charming and welcoming host you immediately feel right at home. Really helpful at organising tours or answering any questions you have. The hostel itself is a great location just around the corner from the beach. The dorms had big lockers so you could lock up your big backpack, and there were plenty of plugs for charging your devices. Bathrooms were also great, like something from a hotel rather than a hostel! Great place!

Gaston was the most warm and welcoming host, he took so much time to help us plan our trip and make the most of our experience. He is also a lot of fun and just an all round great character to have a chat with! We stayed in the double room which had everything we could need, there was plenty of storage to keep our backpacks out the way, cable TV and a generous bathroom. The hostel is located a stones through from the beach and importantly a bakery with great biscuits! We would absolutely recom

The star of the show here is the owner, Gaston. He is a legend. Always willing to help and offer advice. We really wanted to visit Punto Tumbo but as it was the holidays we were not sure if it was open. Gaston tried on numerous occasions to check for us and when there was no guarantee of it being open, instead of us being disappointed, he arranged a separate trip for us which was amazing. A couple of downsides, the breakfast is not so great and the kitchen could benefit from new equipment.
