Really friendly hostel, the staff were all great with excellent English. Relaxed and really helpful with any need you have. Excellent outdoor and inside common areas. Breakfast is plentiful although lacking a huge amount of choice. Takes about 20 minute walk from the bus station, although I think they may offer a pick up service which we didn't realise until we left. Would recommend.

really nice little home away from home. the coffee is amazing. really quick and easy to book trips, and the BBQ in the evenings makes it really easy to meet others. spend time chilling with the staff in the days because they are a lot of fun and will teach you stuff like rock-climbing!! really didn't want to leave there!!

This is a fairly good hostel. On the negative side, I must say that the shared bathroom was not spotless and the breakfast was a bit boring (I prefer eating savoury stuff for breakfast, but that is me!). On the positive side: We were immediately welcomed by the owner Gaston, who is a really kind, funny person, and the rest of the stuff. They create a lovely, familiar atmosphere that really does make you feel like at home, and you end up making lots of friends!

some minor negative points: the quote was not at all clear. the arrival was a little bit stressful... no credit card were accepted but for cars they are.. no transfer to the airport could be arranged, but i was a littlebit late. The BBQ/Asado was not bad but not the best i had eaten in a hostel in Argentinia. some positive Points the young Gaston is a great guy. has fast internet and a lot of computers. Breakfast is good, especially the marmalade.

The staff is very helpful for arranging tours. (Maybe a little too helpful sometimes, but its no problem to say you are not interested). The breakfast included is very nice and there are good kitchen and internet facilities.

Thanks for your stay and for the comment , if you're not interested about doing more than go to the beach for us is great, but 99% comes to see wildlife and we always gives all the information about options not only tours how to know this part of our country.

The best hostel I´ve ever stayed! Love the familiar atmosphere! Both Gaston´s are really nice and helpful with the trips. Furthermore they listen to all travellers daily stories, smile at you all the time and even do the Asado during the nights so travellers in the hostel can meet and chat. Great Breakfast, lots of variety. Handy kitchen. Wifi works excellent. Clean and very spacious bathrooms. and I felt very secured atv all times. Thanks guys! keep it on!

The owner/ manager of the hostel makes this a very enjoyable place to stay with a very fun and social atmosphere. We were given a wealth of information about what we could do during our visit and this was all booked for us as soon as we had decided. The hostel puts on a delicious and excellent value for money dinner ever night which encourages a fun and social atmosphere. There were also free bikes to take out for the day which we found to be a great perk!

The only feature I didn't really appreaciate was the location, this place is quite far (10 blocks, 15 minutes) from all the city center facilities and night bars. Apart from that, the place is amazing, breakfast (included) is great, there is a buffet dinner (very reasonable 50 pesos) every night, you cannot avoid get to know all the people right after a few hours. The owner - Gaston - couldn't be more helpful on giving you suggestions and helping you organizing your staying here.

Hi thanks for your comment and hope your trip continue in the way you plan it. Is difficult for me to understand where have you been during the nigth cause the most far away place in the main centre is 10 minutes away as we're in the comercail area of the town and round the corner to the main beaches.

By far one of the best hostels I've stayed at, and I've travelled a lot. Somehow they effortlessly create an open-minded and friendly atmosphere, and fix everything you ask them to. Very service-minded and friendly staff. Perfect for those who travel by themselves.

Hi Patagonia was one of the best hostels i stayed in during my 6 weeks in Argentina. The advice given on tours and wildlife trips, regarding weather/wind/tide conditions is priceless! The garden is a lovely place to relax, the barbecue a great way to meet other travelers and have some really nice food. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend to everyone.

A great hostel. One of e best we've stayed in. The Hi Patagonia is a medium sized hostel run by one of the best hostellers going, Gaston. We stayed in a by comfortable large twin room with a shared bathroom, all good. gaston has a wealth of information and well happily book you on all the trips you can manage. You can also hire a car from him, the cars are good but you can get cheaper elsewhere, the convenience & flexibility makes it worth the extra. Definately do the prawn communal dinner :)
