This is definitely the best hostel I've ever lived in!!! It's excellent! John and Joan are very very nice. Actually they made me feel I lived in some place like home. Thank you! Strongly recommend the bed beside the sloping window in the loft with a hipping roof. You can see the clock tower of Town Hall through the window. The view is stunning! You will love it! :)))

Excellent hostel! Is close to the train station and the shops. The facilities are clean, though there was only one bathroom to share between everyone. Kitchen and dining room are lovely and the breakfast you get in the morning has a wide variety of things to eat. It was nice hearing the church bells ring in the evening and gave quite an ''english feel'' to the hostel. The seagulls can be a bit noisy at times but you can just close the window to drown them out

Very pleasant surprise for a first stay in an independant hostel. Wish we had booked an additional day there.Arrived soaking wet with wet muddy panniers but it was not an issue. Have been turned away from B&B's before for being wet!
