I really enjoyed this hostel. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered a lot of insight of things to do and see. The security was comforting - especially the 24 hour reception so we could come and go as we please. Internet only works in one common room (that was quite small). It was often very crowded, and no place to sit.

WiFi is not good and you should make it available around all the hostel, not only in the lobby.

Very nice hostel. Nothing to complain. I had just a little problem with my towel. The cleaner confused my towel with the towel of hostel and taken that. However, the hostel washed my towel and returned me cleaner than before that. Hahahaha All staff is very atencious and kind. Recommended!

Shame that they don't have separate toilets for men and women! The toileits and wc are for both! And the problem is that there is no mirrow or sink in the rooms, so even if you want to wash your teeth or do your make up, you' ll have to do it close to men who are shaving at the same time, on the shower room or wc. Find it a bit uncomfortable, but it is ok 'cause everybody who stays there was very respectful and nice!

Nice hostel. Great Wi-Fi in the lounge area (no Wi-Fi in the rooms!). Really enjoyed the breakfast, even though it was simple - bread/toast, cereals, fruits, juices - £1.90 is a cheap price. The staff were very friendly and were always willing to help out with a smile on their face. I had a private room and it was tiny, but had a window, personal heater, and several electrical outlets. FYI - the hostel is several stories tall and there is no elevator.

Everyone was friendly, helpful, and dull of suggestions! The hostel also had free hot chocolate, which was nice on cold days. The kitchen was quite large

High street Hostel has a really nice vibe going on and the facilities are a great mix of old and modern, you can really see the hand of an artist or two, which is always nice for the eyes; however, the beds were a bit uncomfortable.

Nice place near the high street, railstation and so one. These named rooms are very good idea. (Main was Lord of the Rings). Beautiful and historicalbuilding. Very Pleased.

Fantastic hostel! Inexpensive, great location on the royal mile, cheap breakfast, free coffee and hot chocolate, good wifi connection, clean bathrooms, showers and dorms, and helpful staff members. I highly recommend this hostel and would stay here again in the future.

The internet is the big problem, if you want to use you have to stay in the living room and "fight" for one seat.

Location is perfect, lots of people so good for social, bad for internet because it's only in the lobby, I also did not like the shower area.

Great hostel! Only minus would be that one of the staff members had little idea why she was there. Otherewise ever everything the best!

should have some hook or chairs or table in the room, no where to hang the towels, clothes... ... should have places to for guest to hang in clothes.

room really small (double bed private). the building has an old building smell that isn't very nice. common room a bit crowded usually. location is awesome, hard to beat.
