Not a great welcome when we arrived. The staff is obviously not happy and let us know straight away.Shower is small and falling apart. Good location but still very average.

The room was very nice and the bed nice and comfortable. You do have to book your place for breakfast but that wasnt such an issue for me as i stayed in the low season so i could change my sitting whenever i wanted.

The woman who recived us was very unpleasant, she just looked at us as we were the worst people she ever met in her life. In the night we found an insect in our bed, but we said nothing. Unfortunatelly the morning after, when we woke up, we found a lot of bloody stains on our sheets (from other insects we squelched in the night, so ugly!!!). During the breakfast someone from the staff was stinky and sweaty. We didn't asked for a refound just because we wanted to forget all of this.

The room was very small and without any character/charme. For the breakfast you need to make an appointment (max 30. min) because the dining room was so small.......

This B&B is terrible. The owners were incredibly rude to myself and other guests - it was as if she had grown tired of running a B&B and this was somehow our fault. I had friends staying in the nearby MacBackpackers hostel and I visited them for a few drinks - it was an excellent hostel. A very nice living space and kitchen - the people (staff and guests) were really friendly. My advice would be: don't stay at Highlanders B&B, stay at the Student Hostel MacBackpackers instead.
