It's under renovation so it smells kind of dusty and the beds are very uncomfortable. But the price is unbeatable!

Great location and friendly folks. I would suggest that the staff learns to be helpful rather than arrogant though. They consistently say they know better than you when they may not.

This was my first trip to scotland and i can say that i liked it. The hostel i stayed at was good, it was right next to tourist information office right in the heart of the city, the rooms were cheap and still clean and comfortable beds the place overall was clean and the pool tables and music box meant it was easy for us to mingle with other guests. Great place would recommend it.

This hostel is one of the better hostels i have stayed at. First of all it is located right in the city centre 2 minutes walk away from the train and bus stations. The price is good whilst still having wireless access, computers, pool tables and music. The rooms are good, and spaces and bathrooms were kept clean. All in all i felt my stay was good and i really liked the place.

This was a nice surprise and because it was off-season quite comfortable and quiet. Charming old building right in the heart of the city which made it convenient. The place was being refurbished and everyone was very nice. Very easy to find from the train station and right in the middle of the pedestrian zone so lots of food, shopping and fun around.

The hostel is very clean and warm, its TV room has a huge plasma, and I had a choice of hundreds of movies, there's a shop in the common room, witch sells every thing from pop corn to hot dogs, wifi was good all over the hostel, I played pool and had lots of fun. I loved the bathrooms, electric showers with hand dryers, very clean. The hostel location is excellent right opposite Macdonalds, the hostel is on the high street right next to poundland, lush and Primark. I was in paradise. Had fun
