Short walk from city centre and to a park with other beaches, very friendly and accommodating staff who are willing to help with anything. Room had a nice balcony with sofa on it which is good for relaxing in the evening. Had a good kitchen area with hobs and oven and plenty of kitchenware. Would highly recommend and gladly stay again.

This was the nicest hostel I stayed in while traveling through Europe - it felt like a hotel, but much less expensive! Located in a perfect location, on top of a hill with a beautiful view of the entire city. Very close proximity to the beach and the main square. Staff is very friendly! Everything is clean and very new. I highly recommend this place!

A bit of a way out from the centre by foot with luggage but easy to get a taxi. Really nice little place, clean with a cute balcony and Peter was really nice. We were just there one night but enjoyed it.

Peter, the owner was so nice!! Made us feel very welcomed and when we left our charger he tracked us down on his scooter to return it! Great location and the beds were very comfy

We had a really great stay here. We felt very welcomed and at home. We only wish there had been some sort of locker or safe in the room for our valuables. The place is also a bit challenging to find and confusing about how to check in, but it all seemed to work out for us. Great value for the price!

Was not that impressed with this hostel. In actual fact it's more like a collection of rooms that have been let out. We only stayed the one night as a stopover but it was further than the centre than we would have liked. We found Peter helpful and recommended us places to eat etc. The kitchen was very basic. We asked for a twin room and were give a double - we managed to get another single bed but Peter did deny that this is what we'd originally asked for despite having an email confirmation.

Very nice clean rooms! We got an upgrade to a 3-personappartment. Unfortunately we only staid for 1 night, but I next time I go to Split I defiantly staying here.

Future visitors should thoroughly find out how to get to the hostel before arriving, because apartments at Croatia are not the most accessible, and the streets would be rather confusing at first. Nevertheless, the staff at Hilltop was extremely helpful, one of them showed us how to get to the main attractions and where to get good food etc. Common facilities were also in excellent condition.

The place was immaculate, our room had a balcony, was light and airy with a fan, kitchen area was clean and enough room to prepare lunch with pots / pans / utensils / fridge. We were also allowed to use their own laptop in addition to the wifi. Well located just a 5-10 minute walk into town, or a 5 minute walk to the forest, so not out of the way but nice and peaceful. I felt the place had good security. They people who ran the hostel were just lovely and helpful in every way, fully recommend

IF YOU ARE GOING TO SPLIT YOU NEED TO STAY HERE!! Perfect location, laundry machine, kitchen with all the essentials, constant hot water, Petar is extremely knowledgeable about everything in split and very eager to help. This hostel and Petar combined made my Croatia trip amazing. 200% rating.

Peter went out of his way to help us with directions and guidance of what to do and where to go in split. Highly reccomend staying here!!!!
