Traditional Japanese guesthouse from a converted actual house tucked into Himeji's alleyways. Tatami mat rooms upstairs and downstairs, with comfy mats and space heaters. Shower room that requires a brief journey outside and toilets on first floor only. Very peaceful with fast wifi. Easy walk to castle and about twenty minute walk from train station. Be sure to bring clear directions/map though the actual building has a chalk sign outside. Staff speak a little English, also some Cantonese.
