I booked two beds at the exact same time but they couldn't put us in the same room. Gave our beds to somebody else on second night so had to move rooms.privacy curtains are a nice touch but that's it. The girls who work there don't know where anything and don't give you any info about the city unless you ask. Not enough toilets and were never stocked with paper while I was there. Lights out at 11 and no alcohol and no common area space to meet other travelers. Lazy staff!
Louisa, who did my check in, was friendly and very helpful. The rest of the staff are really terrible: rude, ignore you, think their only job is watching videos on youtube instead of maybe showing you something on a map. Bruno was the worst but not by much. Also, hostel is dead with a crappy common area where noone talks to each other. However, good location, great beds, good wifi. If you don't mind horrendous service then this place will be just fine.
Good hostel with an ok location.

A really quiet hostel, which is good if that is what you are looking for.
Nice hostel, but a few things which could have been better. Had to ring a bell to get into building, then again into hostel, regardless of time of day. Better to give keys and could hear bell ringing through night. Beds were not very clean, we were bitten by bugs while at the hostel. Also, no common area, only a kitchen with 2 benches, which didn't allow people to mix well. However, showers were clean and staff were helpful. Also had a very good location.
Staff was relatively inattentive. Just did the basics like show you your rooms and some of the local sights on a map upon check in. They were not really that engaging. There was also no common areas to interact with the other guests. Luckily I was not alone, but if I was, it would have been hard to meet other travelers. It was also weird that they charged more for sheet and a pillow! A towel, I understand, a pillow and your sheets?!?
Do not accept credit card, it is a huge trouble for me. Laundry is very expensive Need money to buy the bed sheet and pillow. Good environment. Good staff.
Decent hostal but at times you feel cramped by how small the inside is and how many people are always around you. Staff is helpfull but sometimes wrong about trains, buses, and other transportation requirements.
