It's really cheap, but if you're just looking for a place to crash before exploring Paris it works pretty well. Just don't expect anything nice. The shower curtains were moldy, so that bothered some of the people in our group. It is right next to a metro station though so that was really helpful.

This place was average-below average as far as facilities, cleanliness, and the staff were not the nicest, but were helpful when we needed them to be. It is a hotel, not a hostel, but it served its purpose for my group very well and was way cheaper for the 3 of us travelling together than most the hostels we could find. It is on the same intersection as a metro line, so very conveniently located. We had no concerns about safety in this area, not sure what other reviews are talking about there...

Well, for the money you pay (approx. 17€/night/persons) it gives you what you can get. The WC is very dirty and very loud at night, due to some pipe vibrating all the time. I really had a hard time to sleep. Everything is small here, the smallest elevator(for 1 person with a suitcase maximum), smallest lobby where you can leave your luggage. It is not poorness, it is poverty. One positive thing is that it is right at the exit of a subway station.

Based on all the negative reviews that I read about this hostel, I expected it to be terrible. However, it was actually not bad at all and I was actually happy with my stay. My two friends and I had our own room and bathroom, which was clean, comfortable, and we even had a TV. For the price, I definitely think it was worth it.

The hotel looks very good, the only one problem was the person in the reception, he was competely useless and disrespectful with one of my friends. At the the end he said he was joking :/

The hostel is under new management that has decided to discontinue free WiFi, which was a disappointment to us. Management should reconsider, because free internet access is a big enticement to travellers! It facilitates their planning and being able to know what's going on while they are visiting Paris. Other than that, the staff were very friendly and personable, which we appreciated, and the room was clean, the small bathroom was great for our needs.
