We had a great time at Hana Hostel. Truly helpful and friendly staff, coupled with great value and a good location for sightseeing in Hiroshima and tacking the train to nearby cities. Recommended!

Nice place. Everything you'd expect from a hostel - nothing amazing but nothing to complain about either. Best thing is that it's like a 5 min walk from the station.

The hostel was fine except that I heard the trains coming and going. Other than that, it was quite easy to walk there. I did enjoy my stay. The staff was very helpful.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful - a real pleasure to deal with. The room was adequately sized and very clean with a private bathroom. The noise of the train did come through the windows but was ok with earplugs. The elevator to get to the higher floors was very convenient and the rooftop washing machine and dryer served us well. Would certainly stay here again, thank you Hana for a lovely experience! :)

Very nice place to stay in Hiroshima. It's 10 min. walk from Hiroshima JR Station. Very convenient from and to trains, but a 20 min. ride by tram (220yens) for the Peace Memorial Museum and Dome Bomb. The hostel is clean. Go for the japanese rooms if available - much better than the western style ones. Free internet, nice kitchen and very, very nice staff.

I really like this hostel. It's nice and close to the station and has friendly staff. On the first night the staff cooked Hiroshima style okonomiyaki and for only 200 yen we had a dinner-sized serve. Recommended.

A bit noisy (close to train and highway) so bring your earplugs! Otherwise a perfect hostel.

Very close to the JR station, walking distance to the main places for tourists and good facilities. The staff is very nice and helpful, what makes this hostel a great place to stay. I'd stay there again if I go back to Hiroshima!

Really same as other client's comment, this is the best hostel that I've stayed so far in Japan. This is not a hostel, it's a hotel. Of course not a 5 star hotel but with three price of 2500 yen I'm very very satisfied with almost everything. The room was great, toilet just a little bit small, the best was the shower, they have the Sushaido shampoo provided and driers, Combs, tooth brush, it's just too good for the price. It took me a while to find it from the station and no internet.

Great hostel with great staff. Located very close to the train station, which i found extremely convenient. Slightly outside of the main sights but still within walking distance. Also trams and trains go from station so very convenient from that point of view - especially if planning on going to Miyajima or Mazda factory as both on train line. I was there on one of their dinner party nights which was great as you got loads of lovely food for 300 yen and got tot meet lots of people.

This is a great hostel. The staff were brilliant, really helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help us when we had a problem with a bus company. This is better service than you would expect in an expensive hotel. The location is perfect as it is so close to the station and there is a great roof terrace and a lovely common room and kitchen. The atmosphere here was the best of any hostel I have ever stayed in.
